I have 2 15yr old grls. They are both out of control and have no respect for authority. They don't go by curfew and run ins with the law is weekly. Grounding, restricted cell phone, tv, computer does not work. As soon as restrictions are lifted they disobey our rules again. They thrive my trust, but turn against it. The threat of indefiniate grounding for the summer made one run away. I am worried this will continue. We are seeing a therapist, its not working. They have their own mind and go with it. Any idea's of making it through the summer without having a nervous breakdown?

At fifteen, it seems like they have had their way for a long time, and can be hard to correct, but not impossible. One option you might want to try, is a change of scenery for the girls. If you are having that much difficulty with their behavior, can you send them to another relatives house, even if it is only for a week, so that you can calm down and get a better perspective. At the same time, if they are getting in trouble with the law, talk with the juvinal courts, you may have to give girls a hard lesson on what will happen if they continue with this behavior. There are programs out there that will show your two girls exactly where they will end up if they continue on their destructive path. I know that sounds harsh, but it may just be what they need to straighten out. Good luck

My church has a bus ministry too. They replaced and superior some issues with the aid of fact that I first began happening the buses some years in the past. Been using for a protracted time now. yet I had a hazard to experience the bus to an time out some years in the past. What they did: they put in little video issues like tiny TVs above the heads stunning the place you will discover them and that they are out of ways. those video clips are entertainment/compliment music styles of issues. to boot that i might propose binding the devil in prayer as a team previously commencing to bypass %. up the toddlers.

Take everything away from them for the entire summer...and don't give it back a minute sooner.
After that you have to replace those things in their lives with something else. Like spending with you. Don't yell and scream at them because that help no one.
Tell them about the things they do right. Try to encourage good behavior with kind words. And talk to them and find out whats going on.

My parents raised me well enough to know that you do not do that. Talk to one of the police officers and see if you can get them to stick the girls in prison for a night. just to see how they like disobeying the law. Other than that, you need to beat their asses. They should never disrespect the person who brought them into this world.

Send them to a place called Ascent in Idaho. It's a six week outdoor wilderness growth program with counselors that assist them with emotional growth and teach them how to take responsibility for their actions. It is a really hard program but very benificial. It is run by a place called CEDU.

i agree with the first responce, but if you get hurt hands from beating them... as i once had... haha... only joking.. you could try giving them more responcibility around the home as in punsihment meant that more dishes need to be washed... keep a cleaner room... more chours ususly tire's the spunk out of them..... but hey ,,, mines are 9 & 11,, so go figure... if you would have started a tad bit earlier in life then maybe you wouldnt be getting so much pain now... " just my thought",,,

tell them you will make them move out if they keep the noncence up, and if that doesnt scare them refuse to let them take their drivers ed class. Also put them in a summer school...the teachers there will restrict them from everything. They may not need summer school, but it will keep them under control, plus its a punishment they will hate.
