Well you probably got overheated. When you're pregnant your body temperature is already higher than normal because of the extra blood circulating in your body (your blood level increases 50% when you're pregnant), and so it is easy to get too hot especially when the weather is hot. Make sure that you drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself from dehydrating, and stay out of the hot sun as much as possible. Wear lighter clothing, use a hat or stay under shade when outdoors. You don't want to have the same thing happen to you again, passing out from the heat is not good for you or the baby. Just the same way that pregnant women should avoid hot tubs because it raises the body temperature, you should be careful about raising your body temperature from being outside on a hot day. You're probably fine right now, but if you're not sure how well you're doing, tell your practitioner so that he/she can monitor you from any other symptoms.
Goodluck to you and with your pregnancy!!

No it's not normal, you should be drinking lots of water and wearing breathable clothing. You should also be staying out of the sun as much as possible when it is that hot outside. Passing out from heat is a bad sign when you aren't pregnant, it can be even worse for you and baby. You should try and limit your heat exposure when it gets over 80 degrees. Heat stroke and heat exhaustion are not a good thing to have to be dealing with anytime especially if you are pregnant.

NO - it is never normal to pass out during pregnancy. It is never normal to pass out at all! You do have to be careful in the heat - but if that happens you get a medical exam to ensure that there is nothing serious going on - like high blood pressure etc.

I wouldn't say it was normal, but there is a chance you suffered from either dehydration or heat stroke. When you're pregnant, your body is not only providing life force to you, but also to the infant in your womb, and it takes more work to keep everything regulated. I would recommend limiting the amount of time you spend in that kind of heat and drink plenty of fluids.

If you're passing out, you should probably be off your feet more, especially if you're 6 months. I would contact your OB-GYN and ask them what they think.
