I have worked in an abortion clinic for 5 plus years. Everything you hear about scarring and such is a myth except if the uterus getss perforated. This happens in 1 out of every 1000 abortions. The further along in the pregnancy the higher the risks. Other than that if you were to have one your body would go right back to normal.

usually abortions are pretty damaging to the uterus, because the instument practioners use is a form of a vaccum cleaner, it sucks out the contents of the uterus, and along with the embryo, it removes much of the uterean tissue. This is replenishable, so the patient will experience uncomfortable pain but it will go away. I suggest abortions if current situations do not allow time or space for the future infant. Please take responsibility, but as far as medical insecurities, dont worry about it, the technology is excellent that works with the least amounts of damaging to human bodies. Take care.

Yes because there has been case when women have died on the way home from the clinic because they think it they are having their period and they end up bleeding to death. Or they have major life threatening complications later in life and they no one to blame but themselves. But there are sick people that don't mind drugging the unborn child to death, letting the doctor slice-n-dice in their uterus and then stick a vaccum like thing up there to suck out the pieces. Yet people still do it. Adoption is the answer!

one of my friends had an abortion years go... hes like 26 right now and married... she had a lil boy about 2 yrs ago... the problem is (she told me) that whenever she has sex with her husband she cant feel anything.... i mean like no orgasms or nothing that pleases her, but before she had the abortion everything was normal.. (she was with this guy when she had the abortion) so i guess it is pretty bad for you.... to the point where u dont enjoy sex anymore and other things... not mentioning when an abortion goes wrong u can lose your life....
if you are planning on doing this.... think about it really good, and go with a professional. NEVER TRY DOING IT YOURSELF.

there are different types of abortions. RU486 is a medical one that doesn't involve a surgical procedure. Much less invasive. Abortion doesn't make you less fertile, but pregnancy makes you more fertile, so whether or not you carry the baby to term, if you are pregnant, it is much more likely that you will get pregnant again. So, take that birth control! Also, abortions cause less deaths and complications than full-term pregnancies and labors. Not an excuse to have one, just a fact. Just like anything, consider the source aand motivation behind these answers. I seek to give you valid information, not force my viewpoint on you, or speculate on the truth. Yes. Some women who've had too many cannot bear children.
Also, some women have experience perforated uterus, even death.
It is a serious operation resulting in the death of a human being and possible death of another.
Unfortunately, politics protects it from the scrutiny given to most medical procedures.

besides murdering the life inside you, you can get a perforated uterus and die from hemmoraging. What about what it does to you mentally? What about the scaring of your soul, if you have one. Abortions is only a CHOICE for the mother, not the unborn.

It depends. It's one of those issues where it is very difficult to get hard medical data, due to the fact that there are powerful groups who want to spread dis-information to support their anti-choice viewpoints. There are risks to any medical procedure, just as there are risks carrying a baby to term. If you're not ready to have a child, it is certianly your best bet. Might as well get a few in while you still can -- Bush has a few more years!

I suggest calling a healthcare facility and asking a doctor about the questions that you may have. Do not be persuaded by someone on here because they tell you its wrong.
there are many sites you can check out about abortion..

your body=your choice

It can potentially cause some complications, but if you go to a good doctor that has done many of them, your odds are very good that you will be fine. The earlier you get it, the better, b/c it requires less invasion.
