The 1st trimester is often the toughest. There isn't much you can do for the fatigue- except know that your body needs more rest- so rest if you can. For nausea, I used "Preggie Pops"- I ordered them online, but you might be able to find them in a health food store. These lollipops come in various flavors that are good for nausea- like ginger, sour, etc. I found them to be helpfull, for a period of time. I suffered from severe nausea in the 1st trimester of my 2nd pregnancy. For me, the nausea got so bad that there was really nothing that worked- I just had to wait it out. If you are having a hard time eating, just eat whatever you can keep down keep trying different things until you find things you can stomach. Make sure to stay hydrated so you don't end up in the hospital! Stay away from medications, since we really don't know the effect of medications on unborn babies- (studies are limited because there just aren't enough preganant woman who will agree to put their babies at risk). The good news is it won't last forever- good luck!

Every pregnancy is definitely different. With my first son I bounded out of bed every morning full of energy and was all smiles for the entire pregnancy. I just felt GREAT!
I tried for a long time to conceive my second son. I wanted another baby so badly. When I finally got pregnant I was ecstatic, but realized almost immediately I did NOT feel as well as with the first. I was constantly nauseous, exceedingly tired, cranky and just generally miserable. I swelled up and was uncomfortable.
I'd definitely mention it to your doctor. With any luck you'll feel better after your first trimester. Listen to your body and rest when you're tired. I know nine months seems like such a very long time, particularly when you don't feel well, but before you know it this will be a distant memory and you'll have a wonderful new addition to your family!

Each pregnancy is different. I hope it doesn't last that long for you!!
Here are some things you can do to help with the sick part:
Eat small, frequent meals every 2-3 hrs- 2 to 3 ozs of carbohydrates and protein is best.
Eat saltine crackers or bread before getting up in the morning and at other times during the day.
Eat or drink something sweet- fruit, fruit juice- before going to bed and before getting up in the morning.
Avoid food with strong and offensive oder, citrus fruits, greasy and spicy foods, and fatty foods.
Increase your rest- this will help with fatigue too.
At betime, try 1/2 unisome tablet or 100 mg B6 twice a day.
If this doesn't help, call your doctor. They can prescribe something for you.

I wish I knew what to tell you, but unfortunately I don't. Every pregnancy is different, and what you're experiencing is normal. Just because you didn't have morning sickness with your first one, doesn't mean you won't with this one, you know? I never was sick with either of my pregnancies, so as far as remedies, I'm not sure. I've heard to eat saltine crackers, stay away from greasy food, etc. If you can, rest/nap/sleep as much as possible. You're only 1.5 months into it. Around the beginning of your second trimester, you'll get your energy back, so hang in there...

I had this same problem, I am 6 weeks from my due date with my second child and this time has been way worse. But it will be ok, I started feeling better after about 3 months. My doctor just said every pregnancy is different, but you might want to mention to your doctor how you feel. Good luck- it does get better!

I have the same problem. The doctor said that every pregnancy is different so that may just be the culprit. It's also happening because I got pregnant when my was 10 months and that short recovery times causes it also.

If you feel that bad compared to the first pregnancy you may want to call the doctor.
But remember every pregnancy is going to be different.
