Filipinos are starving and they dont care!! Are they forgetting that it's the people who are making them rich??? Are they forgetting that the Lord is supposed to rule over them, not their own selfish desires???!!! I mean, come on!!

People who defend her ALWAYS say that you have taken her "out of context" and so.... yeah....

What context is it appropriate to make fun of a presidential candidate's wife's cancer?

Or his deceased son?

Or to call him a f@ggot and then say that you "never used a homophobic slur because gay people don't take offense to it, it's just a name for wuss..."

Or to say that "next time you'll wish he were killed in a Terrorist attack?"

What context was I supposed to offer for her statements like "liberals are just too stupid, and if they are not, then they are traitors"?

How could the meaning of that be any different than what it is?

Is it possible that Ann just runs her mouth faster than her fans can defend her?

Is it possible that the "proper context" is that she is an ignorant, hateful, mini-skirt wearing, coked-out mess of a reject from a Robert Palmer video?

This is in response to the new tory proposals that want to impose heavy taxes on larger cars, more car park fees, taxes on internal flights, etc.

Yet they are leaving us with no alternative but to use these!! If I want to go to Newcastle, London or Scotland (which I do relatively frequently) then the train ticket prices are astronomical, sometimes as much as a flight, and I often have to stand in a crowded and packed carraige. (It's actually not much better than the train network in India, where I've just spent the last couple of months, and believe me for a so called 'rich' country as ours that is a dire insult.)

Also getting around anywhere by train or bus is often difficult and really expensive, the bus networks outside of major cities are a joke.

So what are we expected to do here? I'm all for saving the envioronment, but squeezing more money out of us is not the way to do it.

Should we all just stay home and not go anywhere? That seems to be what they want.

I ask a serious, non-inflammatory, unoffending question; and I get a violation for it... The question was:

Why is the flight 93 memorial designed like an Islamic shrine?

How the hell does this violate the guidelines? Do they hand out violations just because someone dislikes the content and reports it, without it actually violating the guidelines?

I've contacted customer care before about stuff like this, but I never get an answer.... How lame.

Funny that as he seemed to be raring to go when he and Bush set it in motion. Anyway if he never wanted the Iraq war then he should know that the majority of the British people didn't want him.

See this link, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6992253.stm do you belive this?

someone just called me that in an email. I'm jus wondering what in the world it is, and why people assign you names based on political views. as if that means anything to me?

PS when you try to say rude and mean things to me to make yourself feel better, it slides off my back, so don't bother.

I'm asking a simple question, are we old enough to answer it normally or spew hatred? (i think i have my big girl panties on this time)

WASHINGTON — Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Democratic presidential candidate and no stranger to contrarian views, was the sole congressman Tuesday to vote against the House's Sept. 11 commemoration resolution

Tuesday's nonbinding resolution was a relatively short document. It had 12 "whereas" clauses — stating things like what happened the day of the terrorist attacks, who was affected and how terrorists have been targeted since then — and six resolution paragraphs establishing Sept. 11 as a day of remembrance, extending sympathies to families of victims who died and honoring those who have fought in Afghanistan and Iraq

If you still feel that "traitor" is too strong a term for Kucinich, check out this video of him denouncing the USA on Syrian TV

Jane Fonda was never tried for treason after pulling a similar stunt in North Vietnam, and Kucinich won't be either. In fact, his liberal constituents will keep right on electing him to Congress.

Treason used to be regarded as a serious crime. People were hanged for it. Now it's a convenient way for liberals to get their faces on TV.
