They routinely teach a person isnt to object or think for themselves (look at Jobs lecture at the end for a great supporting arguement for this).

In Bin Laden's latest statement, he invited Americans to convert to Islam, pointing out that it would mean "no taxes". What could appeal to Republicans more?

Other good things about turning Islamic would be an end to Hollywood sleaze-- popular culture cleansed of all the sex. Another thing Republicans want.

Can you tell me why, how, where and when? I thought we were attacked on 9/11 by orders of Osoma bin Laden. He thinks he ordered the attack as well.

I know nothing of politics and have never voted. I'd like to get more involved, but I don't understand the separate parties. When you ask people, you just get their personal opinion glorifying their side and denouncing the other. I just want facts about the difference. Thanks!

"We're at the beginning of a transition in the Middle East, we're at the beginning of a long process of dealing with what the president called a long time ago a generational challenge to our security brought on by extremism coming principally out of the Middle East," Rice said.

Is it my imagination or did she just suggest yet again that the reason we're in Iraq is 9/11?

Don't ask for a link. Any half-brained human who has modicum of knowledge about politics knows that most who smear America are considered 'enlightened.'

Google it.

no matter how you twist it the bottom line is if there was no existance of guns 90% of the things that happened wouldnt happen

there'd be no robberies of any sort except maybe break ins when no bodys home

there would be like a 95% cut back on wars

think about it what was the person who invented guns thinking when he created it "ill create a weapon to use againts the people who dont have one" yes there are still other weapons but none more effective and easy to get than a gun

hell i never saw a person walking around with a missile launcher on his back thats for damn sure

Iraq would be a disaster? Isn't a TOTAL disaster now? More civilians are killed, more American soldiers are killed, less oil revenues, less electricity, less water .... How can it get worse?

Now that it looks like the US military, of some size, will stay in Iraq permanently to fight the war on terror & more importantly to make sure that Iraq's civil war doesn't spill into the entire Mideast isn't Iraq starting to look a lot like Israel's West Bank? Another Mideast conflict, that has been raging for 40+ years, with no end in sight and no solutions to stop it?

So now on top of a disasterous Israeli-Palestianian conflict that will never end (& has been the root cause of the majority of all of Americas problems in the Mideast) we're going to have a disasterous US-Iraq conflict that will never end. What a great future Bush has created for the world?

http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-09-11-giuliani-911_N.htm

EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE:
A slim majority of Americans say the Sept. 11 attacks six years ago make former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani qualified to handle terrorist threats against the nation, according to a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll.
Giuliani has made his experience during and after the 9/11 attacks the centerpiece of his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.

That experience, he argues, has made him best prepared of all the candidates in either party to deal with terrorist threats facing the nation.

**This article is a day old, but a small majority of Americans think that Rudy could handle terrorism because of his deeds after 9/11. I am not a basher, but what EXACTLY did he do besides walk around and say soothing words?

Drugs are everywhere and all you need to do is go to any club or party in town and you can find them .
In California they are as available as Budweiser and gangs control distribution and sales through out the state .

Terrorism is no different .
People in the Islamic faith are all over the place and all it takes is for someone to take the Koran literally and be willing to die for that belief .

It is impossible to stop terrorism and fighting it merely creates more radicals around the world .

During ww2 you had the French resistance which Hitler considered terrorists and in Korea and Vietnam lone individuals exploded devices to kill people in public places all the time .

When will people come to accept that a war on terrorism will never stop it but only give them a target to go after .

That target is America and our troops .

If we want terrorism to end then we need to keep terrorists out of America and get our troops home .

Libs try watching Fox and Cons try almost anything else other than FOX or one of the God stations...try PBS, or NPR, MSNBC with an open mind, as if they were more accurate....
