I spent the evening last night thankful that our draught community had gotten some desperately needed rain. I was thankful that my child's school still stood. I think we are safer. But we need to remain vigilent.

I have learned that the media is selling things that we Americans don't need to buy (in my opinion). I've watched very little television since 9-11 and my child doesn't like it, but he survives. My home is a much nicer place for it.
