Al Gore wants everyone to change the type of light bulbs they use to save a little bit of energy while he spends 500 dollars a month just to heat his private pool.

Con Edwards complains about the gap between the rich and the poor and says we need to even things out while he lives in a mega-mansion.

Before anyone yells at me for it, I'm well aware that hypocrisy is on both sides isle; we all know that Ted Haggard and Larry Craig would be perfect for each other.

Did they know that the war was going to go on for this long before they even started to make the case for an Iraq war?

I will cite the video that recently surfaced on youtube of Dick Cheney in 1994 saying that invading Baghdad would have been a big mistake, and would take decades and tens of thousands of American life, and that it wouldn't be worth it.

Personally I doubt if I could ever learn enough spanish to get by, but a lot of people pick it up with no trouble at all. Just start out in kindergarten and do a little spanish all through school and in a dozen years the problem begins to go away. Comprende?

BTW , this is basically a spoon-fed question to allow the liberal democrats on here to admit that this was a bad idea . Who could the candidates have been attempting to impress ? Americans who cannot speak English ? Isn't it the immigrant's responsibility as a new American to learn the English language ? . .... Careful what you answer because any answer in defense of this must also include the acknowledgment that there are other non-English speaking immigrants . So in order to be fair , you'd have to agree that they should have debates in Gaelic , and Italian , and Greek , and Russian , and Polish , and Chinese , and Japanese , and Farsi , and Yiddish , and German , and etc. , and etc. And THAT my friend would be ridiculous !!
