Something really bad like: The Bush Administration's affect on our nation?

Okay... I know what you mean now. Yeah, yeah I do, the road is about to become really rough. I suggest we all hold on tight to what matters to us most. – For me, it’ll be independence for my grandchildren

Actually this is normal. Outside of former Attorney General Gonzalez being driven out by the Left, the resignations are pretty typical. The advisors resign, so they can get a book deal or whatever while the Presidency is still fresh in people's minds. It's only because there is so much hatred for Bush, among the media and the left that this is being made a big deal.

The "something bad" that is coming is congressional investigations. They are all coming out with books that point the blame away from themselves and toward the more "inside" members of the administration.

I doubt it. People resign all the time during presidencies. There is a lot of crap that you have to put with and the pay is not that good.
