Iraq not ready & Iran in the planning stages for free BOMB strike etc,,,so when does the G,O,P lend the pat on the back for draft time,,limited of course..?

I know no one like the draft,ya thats clear,,but what you gfoing do for two more years,,troops are pushed ,,,far ,,and ,,exstended already,,,anyone got common sense anymore?

I find this call by the Left for a draft to be so incredibly bizarre. The Left is against the war, remember? Why is it they keep calling for a draft?

The GOP , under the Bush administration has gone off there rocker. War crimes should be apposed upon the administration that has attack a country that didn't provoke us. This resulted in my American brothers and sisters sacrificing there lives and minds for a cause that just open more cans of terror worms . invest on Homeland security. Spend the billions upon billions on Americans security.We will leave Iraq, terrorist will be emboldened even more. The draft under the Democrats control ,maybe necessary due to the reckless governing of this( Bush) incompetent administration. As our youth fail to voluntarily join the military ,a weaken , depleted Military may need the draft reinstalled.

The only reason liberals want to bring the draft back,is to make the war in Iraq more unpopular than it all ready is.It has NOTHING to do with national security or making us safer.We do not need a bunch of libs in our military that will not fight or bring our troop morale down.

Of course a draft is becoming more and more necessary each month! As a GOP-er, I have no problem with the obvious need for such a call! Fact is, at war or not, we NEED a strong military!

The military does not want a draft. They learned in Vietnam that there are a lot of people out there that just can't adapt to a structured, hierarchical environment and they just don't want to accept that type.
