UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE WEEKLY CLAIMS REPORT

SEASONALLY ADJUSTED DATA

In the week ending Sept. 1, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 318,000, a decrease of 19,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 337,000. The 4-week moving average was 325,750, an increase of 500 from the previous week's revised average of 325,250.

Roughly 300,000 each week are filling and that means about 1.2 million people losing jobs compared to the 24,000 created it seems like the economy is really in the dumper these days despite everything cons try to say about it .

Those other leaders INSTANTLY would've thrown him under the bus for being the world's worst mass-murderer since Stalin, Hitler, and Mao Tse-Tung. Without hesitation, I'm sure. They'd have wanted nothing to do with him or Cambodia.

They had a SIMILAR person in their midst this last week. GW Bush -- the worst mass-murderer the world has seen since Pol Pot. Responsible for the deaths of **at least** 100,000 innocent Iraqis. So WHY didn't they reject BUSH, just as the almost surely would've rejected Pol Pot? Greed? Hypocrisy?
And who are WE to whine to them about human rights, when we have a President who doesn't give a flying rat's patoot for them?

It has been speculated that the EU wants time to be changed to metric. 1 Second to 1 Milliday, 1 Minute to 1 Centiday, 1 Hour to 1 Deciday (or Millimonth), 1 Day to 1 Day, 1 Week to 1 Decaday, 1 Month 1 Hectoday and 1 Year to 1 Kiloday ???

How on earth will that work? A month of Sundays would now be "A Hectoday of Decidays"?

Is it wise to stay in the EU?

Worse Initial Job Loss Reports in 2000 Failed to Generate Yesterday's Negative Hyperbole
By Tom Blumer | September 8, 2007 - 16:33 ET

Almost everybody within earshot of a broadcasting device yesterday knows that the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported a net loss of 4,000 jobs in the economy in August. Unemployment rate, at 4.6%, was unchanged.

Reporting, and misreporting, by the New York Times and Associated Press set Old Media's template for the story. Some reports, including this one by Vikas Bajaj at the Times, laid the entire onus of the loss on private companies:

Companies reduced their payrolls by 4,000 jobs in August, a sudden turnaround from the net increase of 68,000 jobs in July.

That is wrong, as the Associated Press noted:

The government actually sliced 28,000 jobs, while all private employers added 24,000, the fewest since February 2004.

Hill's Progressive Socialist Manifesto Thesis
THE LEONA HELMSLEY OF SOCIALISM

http://www.gopublius.com/HCT/HillaryClintonThesis.html

Could she ogle over brown nose and glorify her communist mentor Alinsky any more? Great insight into her elitist insanity about the need to IMPOSE socialism upon the nitwit masses who don't know what's good for them. Even Alinsky believed "progressive" changes should come from the grassroots---but not Hillary.
Don't you know, she thinks she's in a know-it-all caste above the little people?

And this is supposed to stop the war in Iraq? How exactly?
The terrorists that look up to this man kill more innocent Iraqi's every day then they do american soldiers. They would murder their islamic brothers just as quickly as they would an American.

It is just a false offering of peace that will go unfullfilled so that he can justify further terroristic attacks on Americans by saying his offers of peace where ignored.

Somebody get this guy already!
What are your thoughts?

I have noticed in recent media items a drive for people to support England (The cricket test) if born here, in sporting events and similar as opposed to the country their ancestors came from.. So do people think Jews born and living in England yesterday supported England or Israel in the football as that community seems mostly overlooked in the debate about conforming. My suspicion is most wanted Israel to win but am keen to know what others think. I think sometimes Israel is treated differently to other foreign countries due to its role as America's "Watchdog" in the Middle East, and the neighbours won't play them at games cos they hate them so they go in European competitions despite the geographical nonsense of that.
