head the drive to return the republican party back to what it used to stand for? fiscal responsibility, accountability et or will the current greed drive uber corp rep party simply shut him out like they did to the good John McCain, Ron Paul and any other rep who stood for the old and good values?

I'm all for getting the Republican Party back to basics. I don't know if Arnold will be able to be a driving force toward this change.............

McCain is an old style Republican, is he?
Not according to the McCain-Feingold bill, he's not.
If you want to know what the Republican party used to stand for, look at Goldwater and Reagan. McCain isn't a very good example.
Ron Paul is a pretty good example, if you can get past his pretty awful way of explaining himself.
As far as predicting what Arnie is going to do, who the heck knows.

When has a Republican ever stood for fiscal responsibility? That is what they say. That is not what they do.
Fiscal conservatism is just a code word to go after the poor! I don't call that good values. That sure isn't the values Christ taught, and so many of them CLAIM to be Christians! They aren't!
Like they say, the only abortion they think is moral is theirs!

Republicans need to get back to the solid conservative values that got them elected in the first place. Fiscal responsilibity and accountability is a big part of that. We need smaller government. We need a Ronald Reagan of the 21st century.
