The cold war is long over. China and Russia have embraced capitalism. What gives? It seems a bit paranoid and uninformed to an observer.

The Republicans have been getting away with this fear slogan for half a century now, along with the homophobia scare tactics. Both are wearing thin now, but what else do they have to offer?

Some of us are highly committed to keeping communism (socialism is a degree, after all) from destroying the fabric of our nation.

This may look like paranoia to certain others, but is in fact a commitment to upholding our US Constitution and our freedoms.

I think Democrats need to revisit the WHOLE Constitution and take a look at State's Rights.

Communism can be a threat without any external forces promoting it. Why would they, when there are internal forces that are having great success at it?

Universal healthcare, and replacement of a coherent culture with political correctness, destruction of the middle class while creating an entitled class of career politicians (which is only minimally different from being elected-for-life).

The big difference between communism and freedom is that free people do not owe their government anything, but in communism, the government already owns everything and everyone.

Why do people speak of it? Because we see it happening.

Beleive me, international socialism is more than alive & well. China has embraced commutarianism, a bastardized union of communalism & Libertarianism. Russia & Putin are looking at current more like the 1960's version of Russia. Unsafe world out there for sure!

Because some people can't think for themselves and believe everything they are fed from their political pundits and churches, there, I said it.

Democrat does not equal socialism or communism just like Republican does not equal Facist or Nazi.

Conservatives are more or less conformists. They want everything to be a certain way.

Liberals are more or less non-conformists. They like change and trying new things.

Look around. It's not a threat from outside, it's a threat from the inside because socialism has co-opted the Democratic party. All of the Democratic Presidential candidates are socialist leaning.

Because of the Democrat Party.
It's goal is Socialism/Communism.

During the 60's & 70's, The Socialist Party & the Communist Party, both disbanded and took over the Democrat Party.
They did it with Votes, in the Democrat Primaries.
And they did it without firing a shot.

(Anyone who is not aware of this, is very un-informed and gullible.)

Not the Cold War, China, or Russia.
Most people are talking about the Socialist and Communist policies embraced by liberal politicians and media.

History repeats it's self in perpetual motion. Forgetting the past allows bad things to happen again.

The reason so many see the worst is because of the striking similarities in events that led to what the soviet union became.
