Democrats and Republicans do it but in different manners and citing specifics takes time. Both have made promises to make it smaller, effective and efficient, however, it has grown but worst of all many that did not exist are underfunded. They also do their best in not allowing the Libertarian Party a chance to win by they are a wasted vote or a variation of this. A model of a Libertarian and visit his link.

control no.
moderate regulation when regulation is found to be needed for the protection of the consumer, laborer, and society....yes.

That all depends. Let's say that tomorrow morning all gasoline stations when up to let's say $10.00 a gallon because of a hurricane in Zimbabwe, or that health care insurance premiums doubled because of a little girl named Penny fell off her swing in Iowa I would say yes. And that can happen at any time.

When we deregulate or privatize, it has always resulted in higher prices and lower quality.
