Someone said 911 was a great national tragedy - this is true and that's why it is so horrid that this administration keeps trying to link it to Iraq and whatever else they are up to that is why it is so horrid that this administration keeps trying to use it to keep us afraid and keep us in line. These politicians have no respect for that event or for any of the soldiers currently in peril. Shame on them.

W/O a doubt the most blatant is blaming the Dems in congress of denying the $ for necessary equipment needed to defend themselves.

LIAR! They offered more than he asked for. But he refused to sign it because they added a NON-BINDING date to start reducing our #'s .

WHY? If on that date he could ignore it, then the only reason to threaten a Veto was so he could call the Dems. unpatriotic & unsupportive of our troops, abandoning Americans who were bravely defending the
US from terrorist.

Advertising for this war by having a soldier, who lost both legs in Iraq, proclaim that we have to continue the fight against terrorists in Iraq because of what they did to us on 9/11.

Since when did a war require advertising to maintain support?

Disgusting.

9/11 was and is a National tragedy. It was a declaration of war against the U.S. from the Radical Muslim world. The truth and ugliness of that day will be seen forever in our history as the same as the attack on Pearl Harbor. The deeds of Radical Islam need no exaggeration from our politicians to be loathed as cowardly acts.

Fear tactics. That is how Bush was elected in 2004. That is how he is getting his laws passed by the democrats. Fear is a lousy way to govern in a democracy when facing a long term threat. I think balancing protection and rights will be one of the most difficult issues to reconcile with the American people.

When I come to rule this country, anyone who does not think that Bush and Cheney masterminded 9/11 will be sent to re-education camps to be shown the error of their ways.

Any person who is sick of hearing about 9-11 doesn't know how great this country really is. Its not political if you experienced it first hand.
