Why is the Philippine government so corrupt? Don't they (politicians) have conscience?

Filipinos are starving and they dont care!! Are they forgetting that it's the people who are making them rich??? Are they forgetting that the Lord is supposed to rule over them, not their own selfish desires???!!! I mean, come on!!

I did not know this was going on ..We help that government during WW2
