So Indonesia a country with the worlds largest Muslim population who are still developing but desperate to assert control in SE Asia are apparently planning to develop a Nuclear program with the assistance of China and to actually buy Uranium from Australia, than beligerantly mock us at every opportunity ! Isn't it about time we in Australia used our vast Uranium deposits for "our" good and stopped exporting it to China, India and other potential threats ?

It seems the population are afraid to go Nuclear through ignorance, but are happy to sell it to the enemy ! Cutting of our nose to spite our face ! For what quick profits ???

I dont think it would be possible to go into the detail I want in an answer, so if you have a link to a site or sites where they go into extreme detail on the question, that would satisfy my request.

my mom is a very depressed woman. For the passed year or so ive been the thinking about joining the Marines. Recently, ive been pretty set-in-stone about it. I believe its my niche. When I told my mom about this she seemed.very sad and told me not to make her any more sad then she is. If there are any marines or former marines out there with experience, how did you go about it? I just turned 17 and am a junior in high school so I still have some time. I want to join so that I can make something of myself, so that I can accomplish something very few can do. I can look back on my life and say that I did something with pride. Also, my family has a distinguished military history. both of my grandfathers faught in wwII, one was awarded a distinguished flying cross(right below the medal of honor). I also have two cousins, one who is now in the reserve and another who went to Iraq and is now a recruiter, I want to keep the tradition going

How long is Naval A, B, and C school generally? My boyfriend is in Fire Control (non-sub), and his C school will be close to my home. Are they a few months each? Is there anywhere I can find out online? His recruiters are kind of turds...

Thanks. =)

when im saynig greenish im talking about the army ACUs not the marines, the army digital ACU already looks gray at a distance, so why do they have the gray one if the other looks gray too, im just asuming the gray ACU is for urban enviornment, but they told us that the green is all terrain and can also be used in urban combat.

if your in the army you should know what im talikng about, there is a slight difference in the two, i wish i had a picture,- they look the same until you look very closely at them.

My Marine recruiter told me that the fiscal year 2006 ended in June 2007 and now they have slots for pilots. He said if i join the Marine, I will sign a closed contract and my MOS will be fighter pilot. Does this mean I will be a fighter pilot as long as I sign the closed contract and be qualified?

Also my Air Force recruiter said that if i am enlisted in the DEP, I can go to any Embry-Riddle campus(which is the biggest flight school in US) with all tuition covered by the Air Force. I dont know if this is true and i think there will be a slot limitation.

My goal is to become a pilot, in either AF or USMC.
I am new to the military and i really need help with this.

AF or USMC?

THX in advance

Major General Tim Cross has decided to open his mouth and insert his well manicured foot into it. I guess he was tired of being compared to the French and the fact that pulling out of Basra has has been referred to as a "retreat" by American Generals. Now all of the sudden he is an expert on what should have been done. It pretty obvious that Cross should stick to his rather limited roll, humanitarian aid and reconstruction and leave the fighting to soldiers. How come I keep seeing this Monty Python clip in my mind...run away!...run away!

Personally, I think we learned that in an epic war, you have to play hardball. Because when you do, you get results that you could never get trying to constantly talk without any threat of action, or meaningful action. It seems like we forgot those lessons though.

If you could create a website just for Military wives who work at home (especially if you have kids), what would you want on it? Like a forum? Resources page? Reviews of business products so you know what's a scam and what isn't? Encouragement for when you're husband's deployed? What would make you willing to be part of that?

What would make it worth paying for it? Free books/audios/videos?

Would you pay $10 per month? $20? More?

THE Pentagon has drawn up plans for massive airstrikes against 1,200 targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians’ military capability in three days, according to a national security expert.

We've heard news like this before....nothing ever happens. no one would ever disclose any classified info to any media anyways, why would this be posted? is this any way close to reality?
