when im saynig greenish im talking about the army ACUs not the marines, the army digital ACU already looks gray at a distance, so why do they have the gray one if the other looks gray too, im just asuming the gray ACU is for urban enviornment, but they told us that the green is all terrain and can also be used in urban combat.

if your in the army you should know what im talikng about, there is a slight difference in the two, i wish i had a picture,- they look the same until you look very closely at them.

The ACU (Army Camouflage Uniform) is varying shades of grey over a very pale green. It was intended to serve as a universal camouflage pattern and at present there is no other Army Digital Pattern as you suggest. In practice they have found the ACU to be extremely good camouflage for very dusty environments as well as in dawn and dusk light conditions, but very poor blending into everything else.

Multicam appears to be the camouflage pattern that will be shortly replacing the ACU pattern, it is presently being used by a large number of Special Forces personnel. Multicam appears to be very similar to the old woodland pattern however at 1/3 or 1/4 scale. Additionally, Multicam has had the color black replaced by varying shades of brown. It is a very effective camoflage blending in well with all types of environments and light conditions. It is not a digital pattern however...

i guess to identify what military stance ur from...i'm not sure, never thought about it.Its like the uniforms, like the army is green. airforce is blue, navy is brown, and navy is white.
