As I see it, we have sent too, few troops; (allbeit, not knowing what type of enemeys were to come)...."truth is; In my opinoion we should have sent many more troops to Iraq.... But no-one really believed that these destroyers of liberty were so strong..... actually they're week, but I think we weeken our Troops Strength with silly "vote for me" forced stratrgies " by non military electorates whom are not honest.... But that are supposed to protect the people" .... And Our Leader and Commander, who is often cow-towing to their wants...which only hurts our soldiers and undermines his office)

Also, I must say that a certain amount of diplomacy and tact must be utilized by any acting President....

But, It is that office's highest duty is to serve and protect the People of these "United States".... I hope The Honorable President refuses to cow-tow to the right or left wing and puts forth a protectionist attitude...What do You Think? I'm Voting For FRED..... Who do you support

This may be an obvious question...

I have friends that have finished basic training and said it wasn't drastic but I've heard reports saying soldiers are trained to appreciate violence until it dosen't phase them.

How much of this occurs? Does anyone else think this would be wrong? Is this necessary for any army to be victorious?

“Democrats reject general's Iraq plan”
Does this headline make anyone else upset? I should first say I am a democrat . But it is my view that if we go to war we shouldn’t tie out men’s arms behind their back before pushing them out to fight. I understand the view that we shouldn’t be there but to me, we should go all out or go home…. How does everyone else feel? Do you think it's ok for congress to tell the army how many men they should or shouldn't have?Or how they should or shouldn't attack? Or is it there place only to tell them when and where to fight.

My grandpa's birthday is coming up and he was talking about some painting/print that he saw once at Fort Leavenworth at my dad's graduation. Here are some things I remember him saying.. I have tried finding it on the internet so I can get it for him for his birthday but I just can't find it... I think it might be a James Dietz but I am unsure. It has something to do with an Indian war maybe or something calvary. anyway my grandpa keeps saying its called "the scout' or something.. it has a guy looking off to the distance or something and theres a horse by him or behind him and some other guys maybe? anyone knnow what im talking about?

Would the suggestion by Senator McCain back in 2003 to use double or triple the force in Iraq at the outset would've made better results? much like the tactic used when we kicked Hussein *** from invading Kuwait. We used so much force that the revolutionary guards didn't know what hit them.

I was just wondering what the differences are between Army and Marine basic training. I always heard Marine boot camp is tougher so I was also wondering if there is any truth to this and just how much harder is it. I also heard that the Army in some places does not separate males and females. Any truth to this as well? And one more thing, I also wanted to know how many places for basic training does the Army have and how is it decided which one you go to. I know the Marine Corps only has two.

Is there anyone on here who is or has been in the military who has been stationed in Germany?

I am wanting to know, what are the rules? My husband is in the army and he could be re-stationed to Germany if he re-enlists. I just want to know what are the rules? How many animals(pets) are we allowed to have? What type of vehicles would be alright to bring with us? What are the rules of the road(s) in Germany?

Please help me as I just want to know so I can keep it in mind.

Thank you!

This got me thinking when I watched Full Metal Jacket when Private Pyle kills the drill instructor. What would have happend to him, or a person in real life, if he didn't commit suicide. Would they be tested for mental illness or stress, is there a private court for military crimes?

I think I may have a problem. A while ago I developed some muscle tension in my neck and head, and I went to the Physical Therapist for it a few times and he resolved it. But I forgot to mention that in my medical screening when I processed for the Air Force. so now that I'm in, I'm worried about it flaring up in Basic and that they'll get my medical records and see that on there and discharge me for 'fraudulent enlistment.' I guess my question is what should I do? and also can they even look that up? Aren't my records private unless I give them consent to obtain them?

That is how Bush has managed to win any election he has run in. Lie about the other person until people believe it. Tell the people a lie long enough and it will become truth. I have no repect for people who will lie to achieve their objective.

Who else would know anything about running a country like Iraq except for the people who have already been running it in the past.
The Suni's can choose between being a minority in a town that hates them, or siding with the U.S., making the same noises as republicans about fighting terrorism and keeping the oil flowing. They will get along fine.
Once they turn the control back to the Sunni's they can declare victory and bring the troops home!

Is this true or not?
