Thank you, DesertViking. Something does smell a bit fishy, doesn't it?

I just don't see how with the Federal laws on Service animals that at a military installation medical facility such as this, he can be denied his service companion. Doesn't add up, now does it?

But, irregardless of where he is, he is not to be denied his Service Companion by Federal Law. And, yes, I see your point. Thank you.

This actually hits close to home for me bcuz he is from my hometown and his father works next to me. He is a very young man he 19 what a shame b cuz he is a service dog not even a regular dog he also brings happiness to other members there I do hope they do let not just him but all members the dog i mean shouldnt they be a little happy

O.K. I read the whole thing. Fisher House is a facility meant to house the loved ones of personnel receiving medical care at military hospitals. There are over 30 Fisher House facilities and each one of them is at a military hospital, not at a VA facility. So, I don't understand why this injured vet is staying there in the first place. It doesn't give the location of that particular Fisher House in the link. So, something just doesn't ring true about this story.
