I'm serving my country proud and I'm being deployed to Iraq next month for my 3rd tour. Sometimes I feel if we just keep trades with other nations, yet mind our business when they have issues we wouldn't be warring nor spending so much money in aid. We have problems here as it is, no other nations come to our rescue, Shouldn't we just take care of our own? thats my opinion, I want some other insights

I was just told by my school nurse that i had a slight case of scoliosis. I want to enlist in the Army this December and be active in the Delayed Entry Program until I graduate. I had been told by a National Guard solider that the US Army does not tolerate scoliosis. Should I forget about my dream of enlisting???

I understand that our rights as Americans may allow us to say what we want so please do not reply with “freedom of expression is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.” I want to know why you feel the way you do, what influenced you to feel that way and what, if anything, would/could change your view. Please support your answer with relevancy to the topic and not with bashing comments. Thank you.

The U.S. impeachment movement has arrived, just in time for the March 17 rally at the Pentagon. Here’s the best part! I support our troops 100% and it’s time to bring them home.

As Americans it is time to make our stand to protect the Constitution and Fundamentals of what this Great Country was founded on.

I encourage everyone to copy and paste this information and post it as often as you can until the March 17 protest begins.

Thank you...together we can make a difference... happy protesting!

I would like to put the same question that I had put two months ago about the Future of Iraq.

In view of the joint security plan / crackdown:
Will the near future of Iraq change ? Does anyone thinks that the security situation in Baghdad will change ? Most of the Iraqis think that it is possible if the Americans want, because they pull all the strings.

At a recent gathering of members of the gay community, Hillary Clinton told them that she does NOT agree with the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that was implimented during her husband's administration. She said that if she became President gays would be able to join the military without hiding the truth of their sexual orientation. To quote:

"This policy doesn't just hurt gays and lesbians, it hurts all our troops and this to me is a matter of national security and we're going to fix it,"

What experience is she speaking from? How much time has she spent in the trenches or onboard a battleship in close quarters? I find that the people who speak as she does have never done any time in the military and have no clue how it may or may not affect the soldiers and sailors.

So if you are current or past military, please voice YOUR feelings.

President Bush says we are winning the war in Iraq.
Iraq is in a mits of a civil war and we have no right to be there!
If we are winning how come there is at least 100 people dying every day since the beginning of this conflict with
no end in sight.
Mr President This is a mockery to America and you put us in this predicament. Bring Us Home Now!

Why, when the US accidentally kills 7 or 8 civilians in a strike against the enemy, the world (and US Democrats) unite in protest and holds the incident up as a reason for the US to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan. However, when islamic terrorists blow up 200 civilians in a market place, or kidnap 50 iraqi police recruits and drill holes in thier heads with a power drill, you don't hear anyone complain? Is this one of those times when it is a historical /cultural thing that we shouldn't interfere with or judge?

In Iraq the resistance from the terrorists against the US army seem to be losing and they seem to have no help from their God they call great. If this situation continues, once should doubt whether the resistance carried out is right. For any death of the enemies some or many of their own countrymen suffer death or injuries. Even the US people themselves through their political system cannot succeed to get pullout. How long can the Iraqi people suffer. Is God on their side? If it is so, then the terrorists should be now fighting in the open. How would God allow them to fight like cowards to commit killing indiscrimately?
