I would like to put the same question that I had put two months ago about the Future of Iraq.

In view of the joint security plan / crackdown:
Will the near future of Iraq change ? Does anyone thinks that the security situation in Baghdad will change ? Most of the Iraqis think that it is possible if the Americans want, because they pull all the strings.

The only thing we can do to improve Iraq is leave, anything else is show.

well I dont think it will change any soon, because its way too drastic, iraq is an open land to all different types of people from different cultures, its a war zone. Any one with unfinished business is tryin to use the land of iraq to do what he had to do, either out of hate to the americans or iraqies. There isnt an end for the Iraqi war zone yet, but hopefully in 5 to 10 years I asure you it would be a better land. Untill they all get bored of death, and not much left to be killed, and the boarders totally close, then Iraq would come to peace if god wills, and the Iraqies can go back home. Home sweet home, though home will no longer be what it was, but you gotta start from zero and move up from there

in my perspective, i think it's the Iraqis that HAVE TO WANT TO CHANGE, they have to stop their sectarian voilence. Iraq should be indepedent without America, it doesn't need another country to make decisions about their future, it has to stand up on its own feet. The people have to understand that they must all live in peace together and stop all the suicide bombings, no matter Sunni or Shiite, both groups should live with each other in a good manner, not destroy, kill and hate each other and yeah I know cuz of Suddam Hussein's execution the anger is stronger for the Sunnis but still... that's done and over, what do they want to do now for the future, continue to destroy and hate? if so that's unrealistic. So yeah this is all my opinion others might not agree but it's what i think. I hope that someday soon all the killing stops so that the people could live in peace and not loose their loved ones, same for the soliders dying. We dont know what the future holds but let's hope for things to get better.

The Iraqis are finally taking on more responsibility for their nation. As that grows, the situation in Iraq will continue to improve.

certainly one of two issues are going to happen in Iraq, in particular Baghdad. -a extensive quantity of violence will wreck up for the subsequent couple of weeks and then die down; and after a month or 2 greater peace will start to come again. Im no longer asserting there will be no violence, yet decrease than those days OR -the Insurgents will unfastened their will to maintain going by way of Saddam's loss of life, and it will grow to be a greater non violent place quickly. back, no longer a non-violent city, yet greater non violent than recently.

It will change for the better as the Iraqis take on more and more....and they are. Can't fix a 2000 year old problem overnight

It is possible.

Unfortunately it'll never be what the 'americans' that actually pull the strings want.

All they give a f**k about is filling up halliburtons stockholders pockets.
