Protesting is one of the beautiful things about the freedom of speech. Problem is, talk is talk. No one in power will ever listen with too keen an ear, because nearly everyone in power's got their fingers in the same pies and stand to lose a great deal from actually *gasp* serving the people who elected them. Remember the Boston Tea Party? If not, study up on it. It took more than simple protesting and talk to turn around a ridiculas situation.
Also, keep in mind that impeachment proceedings take time--lots and lots of time. But by the time we throw the Bushies out of office, he may already have been at the end of his term. Hundreds (if not thousands) more people would have died in his (our) senseless invasion of Iraq during this process. And in the end, we'll simply wind up with another selfish bastard in office who's doing more to further his own interests than our own. George Carlin summed it up best when he said: "In a country full of selfish, ignorant people, you're going to have selfish, igorant leaders." You can flush a toilet endlessly, but it's always going to get full of crap again.
I agree that there's terrible things going on under the Bush Administration, but I want to point out that sign-wavers only really get noticed when they stop talking... and start acting. So it isn't that the American people (at least, those of us who see all the wrong stuff happening in our world--some think Bush is the best thing since sliced bread) are simply too lazy to protest. It's that most of us who have entertained making signs to wave realize that such efforts always go largely unnoticed and are in vain.
But should you (and all others out there who decide to join) wish to protest, I'm proud of you for making use of our dwindling ability to speak our minds. Just remember those most influencial are just as able to exercise their ability to ignore you.

what crime or misdemeanor has George W. Bush committed ?
Bill Clinton performed sex acts on, and used a cigar to sodomize, a young female intern in the oval office of the White House and then he lied about it to a Federal Grand Jury.Bill Clinton was then impeached for lying to a Federal Grand Jury.

A President of the U.S. of A. can not be impeached just because you don't like him. grow up and get a life.

I simply don't have the time. I'll be too busy standing up for my country in Iraq, as I have been doing every day for the last seven months. I suggest you come and protest the terrorists in Iraq. You know, take it to the source.

Well, that would be a good time to figure out who is and who is not for protecting the country against ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS WHO WILL BEHEAD YOU ANY CHANCE THEY GET AND TO LEAVE IRAQ WILL ONLY TURN IT INTO A TERRORIST NATION AS IRAN IS AND MANY OTHER MIDDLE EASTERN COUNTRIES! I saw push all those protesters with a bulldozer onto a plane and fly them over to Iraq and Iran and see how much they want to protect them more than our own country.

You don't support the troops, neither do your fellow protestors. You belittle the sacrifice of not only the troops, but their families who have sacrificed also. You negate the value of over 3,000 lives that have been lost. YOU are a sad example of an American.

will their be free food and punch provided by your herder?
I don't know about you but I'm glad our soldiers stood up and died for you to have your peacenic protest cause if you were in say Venezuela under your hero Chavez you couldn't .
When are you going to start protesting our illegal by your standards, war in Somalia??? that war was only supposed to last 2 years according to slick willy. we're still dieing there. HYPOCRITE!!!
He only slaughtered half the people Hussein did.
It would be pretty selfish of us to leave the Iraqis to the Iranian dogs to devourer. Remember the fall of Saigon?? 150,000 Innocent lives taken by the enemy following our protester forced pull out!! IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR HISTORY, YOUR BOUND TO REPEAT IT.."Ben Franklin"
Stop claiming to support our troops. By bringing them home without victory, You support letting those who died to have died in vain and the mass slaughter of thousands of Innocent civilians and that's historically proven fact!!!
PURE LIBERAL SELFISHNESS!!
I'll pray for you.
