THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION!
Why is it when we talk about WW1 and WW2 we act like we did all the work and that we had it so bad. I understand alot of people died defending our freedom, but we just seem like we think it was all US. It was not at all. WW1 the French, British and the German took the brunt of it all. And in WW2 the Ruusian had it bad. I have talked to history teachers, and they all acted like the Russians in WW2 we so so so stupid. The fact is the fought hard to push the German's back, and they had some highly skilled soldiers and Generals. As so did the German's. But why do we act like it was all America! We were just a very small part in WW1, and in WW2 we did alot, but in that war I give it to the Russian's. Now im a big history freak. Im a lifetime member of the history channel, I have 100's of books and DVD's about war's and such. So im not stupid in this area. I have always just wondered why we act like that.....What's your input. NO SIMPELTON'S ANSWER'S PLEASE!

What happens when after Bush bombs Iran 300,000 terrorists pour over the Iran-Iraq border linking up with their Shiite Iraqi brothers and cut off the US military from their supplies coming out of Kuwait & surround them in Baghdad & other parts of Iraq?

If the US can't bomb & INVADE Iran at the same time any attack on them is pointless because they will always have the technological know how on how to make a nuke weapon. The only way to solve this problem is either regime change or better diplomacy. Bombing Iran is just another Bush half solution and we all no what happens when he does that.

The only question is does the US have enough troops for an invasion of Iran?

I've never gotten around using these since I got out of the military and got a decent job with the local phone company. But now I've been thinking of returning to college. Is there a time limit on when I have to use my GI Bill and the Navy College Fund or are those the same thing?

Is this evidence that the Bush administration has no clue what they are talking about or is it evidence that they are lying through their teeth?

Presently, the Bushite-Artist Administration is trumpeting claims
that Iran is closer to a nuclear weapon than the CIA's
own analysis shows. They are lying again stating that Iranian influence in the insurgency, but efforts to destabilize Iran
have been conducted covertly for years, often using
members of Congress or non-government actors in a way
reminiscent of the 1980s Iran-Contra scandal.

Almost immediately after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks,
Iran became a focal point of discussion among senior
Administration officials.

Options considered already have been the allegations that Iranian forces ere killing US soldiers in Afghanistan... No one bought it YET...

But wait, by the autumn of 2004, pressure for confrontation
with Iran had resumed, with President Bush telling Fox
News that the US would never allow Iran to acquire
nuclear weapons. In sum, the Bush Administration seems to have
concluded that Iran is guilty until proven innocent
and continues to maintain that the Persian Gulf
belongs to Americans -- not to Persians -- setting the
stage for a potential military strike.

Why do people that hold a master's degree not know how to use the spell check. On top of that, I believe a certain few are even racist and so full of themselves. What business does an educated racist have in our armed forces? I would think that this combination would be dangerous. Don't you? Racist people are schmucks!!!Oh ....by the way, I have my masters....I'm just sick of people thinking they are better than others

Do you think that Bush is aware of the irony of our trying to make the case that Iran is fueling the insurgency while burdened with the lack of credibility that the US suffers as a result of Bush's having cooked the intel on Iraq's WMD's?

We cannot just leave now because the country would go to hell (figuratively) and that would be on us. I'm a pretty conservative guy on this issue, and would like to see us leave Iraq, but do it in a smart way.

My idea is alot like the "troop surge" but I actually (no BS) came up with it long before Bush's idea. I said that we should give the militias a month to disarm, then have a massive crackdown after that, leaving military forces from the Iraq security forces in every area that was pacified.

Good Idea? Bad Idea? What's your strategy?

Good answers get thumbs up even if I don't agree with you. Idealistic crap gets thumbs down.
