Pearl Harbor happened at 7 in the morning on Sunday, December 7, 1941. A couple days later, Germany declared war on us. A couple days after that, Japan declared war on us. We officially entered the war directly after that, but even before Pearl Harbor, we were shipping supplies to the Allied forces.
You should watch the movies Pearl Harbor, Tora! Tora! Tora!, Judgement at Nuremberg, and Enemy at the Gates. Those will give you LOTS of material to work from.

the war would have lasted longer. germany still would have lost...but it would be the soviets who would have liberated europe. europe might have become part of the soviet union. the us would still be a huge international power, because we would still be the only industrial nation not touched by the war. however we wouldn't have the international stature we did because we didn't enter the war and presumably we wouldn't also create the marshal plan. there would be no nuclear weapons...unless einstein convinces the us to make them as a deterrent to a much more powerful soviet union. although unlikely. the soviets would be a lot stronger. japan would be a lot stronger. i'm not sure i agree that the us would continue its isolationist policies, historically the us is not an isolationist power, we just have spots here and there where we are. the us and soviet union would have gone to war. there wouldnt be a nato, but most likely some alliance between the us, the uk, and the rest of the commonwealth of nations. the would i'm imagining seems a lot more grim than what we have today. good question.

It breaks down like this... 1. England would have surrendered to Germany but it would not have been unconditional. Germany would have continued to hold all of Europe and Eastern Russia. They would have been fought to a standstill again at Stalin and Leningrad. They would have negotiated a truce with Germany in the end. 2. The U.S. would have still fought Germany because the japanese would have still bombed Pearl harbor, the U.S. would still have decalred war on the Japanese and the Germans would have declared war on the U.S. 3,Most of the war would have been fought in North Africa and Italy, probably in Italy resulting in a defeat for the U.S. 4. The U.S. would have still gotten the atom bomb first and bombed Germany into submission. Russia would see this as the opportunity to get rid of Hitler and the German army and would re-enter the war along with England. So in the end the result would have been the same but the war would have lasted 2-4 years longer with twice as many people killed.
