Everyone knew it was Iran that was supplying the hi tech shaped charges that are being used to decimate even heavy tanks in road side bombs. Now that the U.S. is finally saying so and pointing a finger and defining how many U.S. citizens have been killed by their bombs in Iraq (172 and counting), when will we make them pay a price? Besides the watered down UN sanctions that mean nothing to Iran since they have massive trade with russia and china. And btw since everyone wanted us to let the UN handle the nuke issue with iran and let diplomacy deal with them, how is that working? Iran just laughs and goes on their merry way developing the bomb.

First my boyfriend failed his hearing test twice, marginally passed the third time; then his ingrown nails were removed, two weeks later he came down with pneumonia and spent 4 days in recovery. Will they possibly drop him from bootcamp(Marines). How often do they "extend" their time? My friend's fiancee has been extended 4 times now. We're hoping he will finally be home in June.

I read a horrible news story yesterday- A vet that fought in Iraq was so depressed traumatized and emotionally hurt, he tried to get help from the VA for his emotional trauma- but was told he was on a waiting list- The vet couldnt wait, and killed himself.

WHY was he on a waiting list to be helped??

Of the billions of dollars being blown on Iraq, what percenatge is being spent to help the soldiers who come back? I stongly oppose this war, but do feel the vets deserve top notch care, and millions dollars should be spent to make sure all vets get full treatement for any physical or emotional injuries.

Has Bush fullfilled his promice at taking care of the vets that came back from Iraq, or has he turned his back on them?

In having the soldiers serve multiple tours, its almost as if they are regarded little more than cannon fodder. They deserve better....

I think this two countries should send more troups, may be Spain and Italy should suport my proposal also. If these countries are our allies - please give us a break - lets bring our boys home - and send theirs. Then it will be proven they are our real allies. I am not talking about 1000 here and 500 there - I am talking about these 20,000 additonal troops we are sending. Your constructive opinions are welcome. Peace be fallen on us....not war.

Have all the paperwork in, recruited got involved 5 months ago, and still nothing. Was shipped to "A" and was told 20% of them would not be returning. If any of them haven't recieved their bonus' too bad....Army don't pay dead guys. Is this a breach of contract and can I recieve an honorable discharge?

Obama suggested it after John Howard (President of Australia) was talking all big about helping in Iraq. Right now Australia has 1000 troops (mostly non-combat troops) in Iraq. If the international community got involved this whole mess could be fixed, but no... every other nation has the right to be a bunch of panties.

What do you think?

So..all of you military people, what happens when you, as a parent, file a complaint about a 19 year old private who refuses to not see your 14 year old daughter? He has been warned by her father not to contact her anymore. He has been contributing to her skipping school just so they can see each other. They are sexually active, but, really don't have any real proof. My question is ...will the military step in and help put a stop to it? And if so, what can possibley happen to him? Will he go to jail or something?

We know that some of the choppers that have been shot down recently were shot down in Sunni dominated areas of iraq.

Why is no one calling for the invasion of Saudi Arabia - or even speaking to the idea of tough measuers against them?
