criminals and morons in the military is the best place for them.
Do gays go around with "I am gay" on their shirts? Fine as long as they are seperate themselves from other men in changing rooms same reason why men are seperate from women.

The military is meeting and suprassing its enlistment goals.
There is no movement towards changing the military's policy on homosexuals.
There are already criminal background checks, and intelligence/academic achievement standards. "Criminals and utter morons" are not serving in our military. It's insulting to have that even said.

yes the let Gays in.. i know a couple... very nice women, the main thing, is they DONT TELL, & there LPOs and officers DONT ASK.
hehe, and yes as wrong as it is, the chick that said about using gays as ammunition??? I just had the mental picture of a drag queen flying thru the air with hair sticks out to do some damage on the bad guys.... even tho thats probably NOT what the other poster wanted to put across, thats what i got from it ;)

Aren't most gays liberals? and aren't most liberals agaisnt the war? Why WOULD they want to join anyway? Not that I see a problem with it. Until gay marraige is approved I dont see how it would work. Military housing, health care etc. As far as recruitment goals, the military is NOT hurting. In fact the Air force is cutting down.

I think the US military has relaxed its stance on gays for over 10 years now--as I recall, they went to a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. With the current rate at which the US government is wasting human life, I'm sure they'll be happy to use gays as amunition as easily as the rest of the poor, unfortunate (or terribly misguided) people they're exploting now.

You do not have to be a US citizen but you DO need to be a permanent resident alien (green card). Illegal aliens cannot serve in the military. You are way off...

They don't discriminate gays. Remember Clinton's"Don't ask don't tell" policy? It's as it should be. Why do gay people feel it necessary to tell people what kind of sex they like? I don't come into work and tell everyone what I do....why would I???
