I would like to find out what medals my grandfather had received while serving in the navy during WWII. We know that there were some medals that were not distrubited. any info that would send me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I cant tell you where exactly as i forgot. But do a search on yahoo about military medals. you will find some sites will tell you about all the possible medals that could be had during the many military operations the us has been in.
