My husband is getting stationed there very soon and I am wondering just how hard it is to get on a waiting list for housing. He is not going into boom camp. He already has 4 years in. Do you know if there is a long waiting list? I am looking for current information. Please help!

From what I have found there is no waiting list as of right now.

Here is a couple of links for Parris Island

i can't help you with the waiting list since i haven't been stationed there in over 20 years. i still travel to beaufort to visit retired friends and i can tell you that off-base housing is affordable. as an nco or officer, your husband will receive a decent housing allowance. google the beaufort gazette to check out the classifieds.
good luck and semper fi !
