What happens when after Bush bombs Iran 300,000 terrorists pour over the Iran-Iraq border linking up with their Shiite Iraqi brothers and cut off the US military from their supplies coming out of Kuwait & surround them in Baghdad & other parts of Iraq?
If the US can't bomb & INVADE Iran at the same time any attack on them is pointless because they will always have the technological know how on how to make a nuke weapon. The only way to solve this problem is either regime change or better diplomacy. Bombing Iran is just another Bush half solution and we all no what happens when he does that.
The only question is does the US have enough troops for an invasion of Iran?

What you have pointed out is why the Baker report recommends escalated diplomacy not military action. Rusty might br right we might be able to get our supplies through a land route from Kuwait to points northward but thr Iranians will make us pay. They won't do it with conventional forces, they will use guerilla tactics and make it expensive in blood and treasure. We could bring a lot of logistics in via c-17 but not all. We are somewhat short on strategic lift. The straights of hormuz will be tricky also. The Iranians have fairly mobile ant-shipping missiles and it is a big dessert. Ultoimately we will prevail if we have the political will, but the Iranians can make it very uncomfortable.

Why does everyone think there nuclear program is about missiles? I understand the threat, but who said they were making nukes. Where is Saddam's W.M.D.? There was none. The U.S. is so worried about other country's having nukes, but we are the only country that has ever used a W.M.D. 2 times. The question is , why do we have them, were the only people that ever used them. We need to be %100 sure that this is being used for nukes and not energy. This is all we need is to invade them and find out a year later that all they was doing is making energy, and then what? More Americans dead!

No we don't have enough troops for a ground invasion in Iran.
I think we can agree Iran is dangerous. I think it's time for the UK, Germany, Australia... someone else to step the hell up. They hate you too. And you know it. You force us to be the world police.

they cant cut us off they can never win on open ground
they could send 3 million onto the desert and try to cut us off we would just carpet bomb the hell outta them and roll right through with armor their is no cutting off
on open ground we are an unstoppable military its this urban **** we arnt used to
