I am glad we police the world, it keeps the clunky third world countries in check, but we need to make sure China and N.Korea know their place. I think we should get Israel to help bomb N. Korea and blockade their ports and sink any Chinese submarines that try to follow our ships, and demand that Iran help us take over all of Saudi Arabia's oil reserves. And that's for starters. Next I think we should control the slave labor in Africa diamond mines and regulate the diamond industry. It's only fair, all these guys owe us for letting them send people here and create unfair trade balances and we need to make sure China buys Cadillacs because they rule.

For all of those in the Army, do you support the change to the traditional Army Blues, or do you prefer our current Greens? I understand that the Blues have a long history of tradition behind them, dating back hundreds of years, however, somehow I just prefer my Greens. What do you think?

We used to be very close back in 1997 in Puerto Rico until he went to Texas for training and haven't heard from him again. He has been on my mind since 9/11 and don't know how to find out if he's ok. His name is Alexander L. Poutou. Just want to know if he and his family are doing well.

My son is in the Air Force has been permenantly stationed in England for the past year with two more years to go. He has been deployed to Saudi A. and returned to England. He enjoys deployment but dislikes the England base. He would like to get a different permanent base in the states but no one on his current base will tell him what he needs to do. He has told them he would not mind being deployed again but would rather do it from the US instead of England. Does anyone know what or who he has to contact to accomplish this?

Palestinians released in prisoner exchanges "always returned to terrorism," a high-ranking officer in Central Command warned Sunday, ahead of a planned swap for kidnapped Cpl. Gilad Shalit. Palestinian Authority security forces in the West Bank are "infected" with terrorist elements, he added.

He told reporters that three senior Islamic Jihad officials, who were released in the 2003 swap with Hizbullah for kidnapped businessman Elhanan Tannenbaum and the bodies of three soldiers, were currently involved in the group's buildup in Nablus. The three - Muataz Halil, Hasin Garda'at and Muza'at Saba - were also helping to build up the terrorist infrastructure in the Hebron area, the officer said.

"This is what happens when terrorists are released in such deals," he said, "they immediately return to terrorist activity."

Just seeing if anyone else noticed that the Army commerical ads are more about giving people money to join and help pay for college, but the Marine commerical ads are more focused on building you into a stronger person mentally and physically. I know that all the services offer the same thing, money for college , enlistment bonuses and stuff like that. It just seems the army is just trying to buy people to join, and have been doing it for a long even before the war on terror started

Im a 15 yr old female that was caught with 30 muscle relaxers and in the state of VA that is considered a felony and im out of school for a year which i have to go to alternative school. and i have to go to juvi for 6 months or to jail for 30 days if my parents choose. Iraqis want us out; soldiers want to get home; Congress critisizes the "open-end" stragegy; ordinary people want Iraqis to fix their own problems.....

Who will object the immediate total withdrawl if Bush ever decides to do that? He probably gets as much critics as he does for any other strategy, but our troops can come home.

The conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience,” he said. “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”
