A solider has honor and an office worker doesn't. IT depends on where you are sitting I guess.
Here is another option, join the Navy. For the majority of the time, you are not directly in harms way, but you are serving your country and defending it and therefore you will have the honor that you desire.
If you are totally set on joining the ground forces and going to war, I would recommend that you visit a VA military hospital that has some of the veterans that are there and ask them what honor is. Most I am sure, will tell you to do what you think is right, because the only honor that is worth anything is the honor in doing what you think is right.
Good luck.

There are different jobs in the military. I was an infantry Marine myself but you could do many things. You should try to score high on the placement exams and go Intel. combat engineer, or radio man. Those guys were with me on the ground in Iraq and you still gain experience for your life after your time of service.

As a mom of 5 kids, do what will make you happy. Your parents can stop you from service until you turn 18. My husbands brother joined the Army because the Marines came to his house and his mom ran them off. Just tell the recruiter not to identify him/herself to your parents. Good Luck and God Bless you.

It's your choice, friend.
You must break away from your parents (you still must respect them). TALKING is very important. Always talks to your parents about it. Never let a day go by without you telling them your goals.
You must find your voice and be bold; you must be determined in your decision and steadfast in your strength and dedication.
My BEST wishes to the fulfillment of your dreams.

You can follow their wishes and live with regret for the rest of your life and never make your own life choices or decisions, or you can start moving your life the direction you want and take charge of your own future and destiny.

it incredibly is only my perception. i think that we are made metaphysically with the aid of a twin technique. One is our soul, the different is power we capture from the outdoors international. This outdoors power can the two build our souls or tear it down. as quickly as we die, our soul does what it does. however the different power is released . each so often it varieties strands which would be perceived with the aid of a man or woman who in no way experienced those strikes. sort of implanted thoughts. it incredibly is how i think of of reincarnation

Do it man, my parents are the same and if you work hard they would know that you will be a good soldier and they would know they might not loose their boy.
