Do you mean the phonetic alphabet, because that's what you are reciting?

Kilo, lima, mike, november, oskar, papa, romeo, quebec, sierra, tango, uniform, victor, wiskey, xray, yankee, zulu. Would be the rest of the phonetic alphabet.

Those types of companies seldom go past the first few letters anymore. You'd have to go back lots and lots of years to find India (not Indiana) company and such.

Many units aren't "lettered" companies but are numbered companies.

regular battalions- tank, infantry and artillery. have an A co, B co C co and D co. then they have an HHC headquarters and headquarters company.

Cavalry regiments, being 2ndACR and 3rdACR have 3 manuever squadrons. an aviation squadron and a support squadron. 1st sqdn is A troop - D troop with a HHT. 2nd sqdn is E troop - H troop with a HHT. 3rd sqdn is I troop - L troop. the aviation sqdn has M troop- O troop. the RSS sqaudron troops are named for their job. ie ENG troop.

the navy and airforce number units.
