Military - January 2007

Our military cannot win this type WAR....all our military toys are basically useless over time.

Our enemy is in the superoir position because it is THEIR COUNTRY...they have no place to go.

A unique concept...it is NOT our country or our BUSINESS what happens in IRAQ. We do NOT own the world...big newsflash 4U

Peace in the Mid east is a " pipe dream" and has NEVER EXISTED and never will. Democracy in the mideast is a joke.

The USA is sick with arrogance and will be SPANKED once again....all our money wil be wasted and our guys are dying for nothing...that is right...NOTHING.

We will CRAWL AWAY spewing excuses and blaming everyone EXCEPT those that started it. Hide and WATCH !!

What makes iraq hard?
it's not the lack of hot showers.
it's not the missing meals.
it not the the stress.
it's not the screaming.
it's not the crying.
it's not the blood.
it's not being shot at.
it's not have thing blow up around you.
it's not the smell of death that constantly surrounds you.
it's not even the fact that i dont know if im going to wake up the next morning.
it's not having the people i love with me. so remember I LOVE YOU. if i called you a friend, a lover, family, even a person i just always waved at just remeber i am here for you, i am out here suffering for you so you don't have to. i am bleeding, crying, and may even die for you. just do one thing for me, dont cry if one day im gone, just be happy that i gave my life to make sure all of you where safe. because i will be. but dont fear for me because i will make it home. if it means i have to distroy this land and fight every man in it. well so be it. but this i swear i will make it home. you will see this face again.

They were EOD. All the reports tell is what unit they were assigned to there in IRAQ.

I know quite a few, but I'm interested in some of the more exotic colours like yellow, and so forth.
Dark Blue- Navy
Light Green- Army
Dark Green- "Green Beret"
Light Blue- Airforce
Black- Anti-Tank forces
Red- Paratroopers

What standard are these? And is there a site that lists them?

I recently moved to Colorado with my husband and daughter. We signed up for base housing. The problem is, my husband will be moving back home for a while because he can't get a job. Will I get BAH for him or do I have to move off base in order to get BAH?

I hear (from so many Iraqis) that they saw American soldiers dead and thrown (by the military itself) in the river or in some other places in different parts of Iraq, I couldn't believe it, but could it be true, if yes, why do they do that, is it because they don't have citizenship or family members in the US?

I would really like to serve my country, but at the same time i don't want to slow down my goals in life. I plan on joining the resserves in ether the AF or the Army, and want to go to college while i serve. I'm not sceard of deployment, but would like to wait untill i'm out of college. My recuter says that he can make that happen with the are SMP program, but it seems to good to be true. I don't know which branch is better for me. Also does anyone know the wash out rate for the Army Rangers
