"Peace in the Mid east is a " pipe dream" and has NEVER EXISTED and never will. Democracy in the mideast is a joke."
Is that right? Democracy in the Middle East is a joke? It's you who is sick with arrogance. You think you are among the only people superior enough to deserve it? Are you better than the people of the Middle East?
YOU crawl away, because the men and women of our armed forces aren't going to do that. Wimpy, America-hating dinks like you who needs the government to powder their butt and tuck them in at night are the only ones with dreams of crawling away.

You're funny. Thanks for the laugh.
You have a few kernels of truth amongst all the crap. We are using the wrong tactics, but that is shifting slowly. And if the activities of other countries can have an impact own our American society, then, yes, we do have a reason to get involved. Isolationism is not the answer. We can seek global solutions and still retain our natinal identity. But hiding our faces from the rest of the world is an incredibly stupid idea.

Tell the liberals cause if we loose this one, just like Viet Nam, it will be because of the liberal agenda, liberal media. You cant fight a war, and yes, terrorism is a war, by remote control. Both Desert Storms started out right, give the military their mission, shut up and let them do their job.
Now, Congress, just like in the Viet Nam era, will try to run it by remote control, you know, run it according to the polls. Well, once we begin to have a body count on our city streets from the terrorists who will follow our troops home, they will still want to blame the conservatives and Bush.
There are democracies in action in the middle east, or near democracies. Turkey is one to be proud of and yes, they are not like Iran, Syria and Jordan. While they do have a large Muslim population, they have more freedoms than most.
You want to place blame for Iraq, well, start with a spineless UN that cant back up anything is says or does. blame the foiled Oil for Food that Annan had his hands in. Blame the Money Saddam funneled to terror groups. Blame the UN again for giving him time to move his WMD's to Syria and yes, Iran.
You need to stop and take a search on the web for information that the mainstream media fails to report.
If America gets spanked, we can thank the Democrats and Liberal media.

A majority of the insurgents are not Iraqi so it is not "their country". I am here an I do know. The only way the US leaves is if the dems satiate the liberal agenda and leave. They will leave some muslim extremist the 4th largest oil reserve in the world. He will buy weapons and attack the EU, Israel and the USA. The lesson we are learning here IS how to fight this type of war. If and when the Troops leave the western civilians will learn how to die.... a poor lesson indeed.

First, end the liberal/conservative crap! We know who and how it got started- now is the time to fix the problem!
We have no choice but to win, and we will, BUT not with stay the course!
We dont even need more troops there! We need to back off enough to either force the Iraqis to govern and control or kill themselves off!
Either way we do so from a secure position at the sidelines!

I still do not believe we have lost. The US forces can go where they want when the want and the best the enemy can do is a road-side bomb. Do you not think there is a reason the enemy has stopped trying to attack the US military with combat units? Because they KNOW it is FUTILE!
So if we have been beaten please name the battle or skirmish in which the US has retreated?
What the US invasion has done is unleashed passions held in check by Saddam's police state.
Additionally, it is politics as usual in the US and the opponents of Bush would rather see US troops die in their thousands or surrender in shame than admit we are winning.

We will win this war, but only after we've replaced our draft-dodging President and Vice President with an intelligent Commander in Chief. And yes, joining the National Guard during the Vietnam war was a draft dodge, and so was getting FIVE deferments!
It's true that our military can't win the war by itself. It will take a President capable of using diplomacy where it's needed. This President's dim witted, black and white view of the world guarantees failure on almost any foreign policy decisions, but fortunately, he only has two years left, and the Democrats should be able to hold him in check now.

1. We already won the war. Occupation is being rough
2. We can even win the occupation if we kill all you defeatist supporters of the enemy
3. Even if you disagree with the war, do you really hate your own so much you want us to lose. Maybe we can arrange for a radical islamic council to take you under their wing.
