The right to bear arms is not enshrined in the new Iraqi constitution, there is even talk of disarming the militias. Not even Saddam tried to disarm the Iraqi people. If Bush can do it in Iraq, what is stopping him doing it in the USA?

This is for speech and debate:

Whereas: The United States renounced the use of biological weapons in 1973

Whereas: The US Army estimated that one thousand kilograms of sarin nerve gas aerosolized over an urban area on a clear, calm night would kill 3,000-8,000 people.

Whereras: One tenth of the amount of anthrax would be likely to result in the death of 1 to 3 million people, a toll of 200-600 times that in New York.

Whereas: The US maintains what is far and away the largest biological weapons defense program in the world.

Whereas: Even the greatest experts disagree on which specific activities are offensive and which can be classified as defensive. And the laxity of this interpretation has given rise to potential misunderstandings and opened doors to would-be biological weapons developers.

Let it be resolved by this student congress: That the United States Department of Defense will disarm and eliminate all biological weapons and stocks of biological agents.

and if so, does that mean the USA has lost the war, whatever might subsequently happen in Iraq?

Surely no US administration would now be foolish enough to proceed with an invasion of Iran now?

I think that it might be good because I am sure that the politicians in Washington would make sure it was the right time for war if their kids might die.....

I was watching the training of French Foreign Legionnaires on the Military channel the other day and saw the types of training the do. I have also watched the Navy SEALs types of training and would like to know out of the two groups which one is the best. I have always heard the Seals go through the toughest training in the world but after watching the Legionnaires I was unsure of that statement. Answers well appreciated.

My boyfriend is a marine and has been on two tours each for a year, it has obviously left its mark on him. I know I can never understand what he has been through, but I want to know if there is anything I can do for him. I've seen him on the verge of tears when he remembers things he saw or had to do, and it breaks my heart. I know nothing will take the memories away, but does anyone know of anyway I can help him more

Al Qaeda (the base, or database) is a network of some 12m Jihadists who seek to install Fundamentalist Islam in their respective countries (Asia-Philippines, Indonesia & etc.- as well as the Middles East) and eventually the world. This is, of course, in conflict with others.
