What does the term "ESTing from the Army" mean?

end time in service, it's the day your contract ends and you are either out of service for good or go to inactive reserve which is basically being out of the military

Entry Service Time. The date that you are released from the military, or the date that you become inactive ready reserve, depending on if you are national guard or regular army. If national guard the EST is the date you transition from active army to reserve.
