Without any shadow of a doubt, the US military is the most technologically advanced military in the world. While there are individual weapons systems within other countries that may be more advanced (the British Thor for example) then the US equivalent there is no other nation in the world that so completely incorporates high tech into the service as a whole. Likewise, our training strategies and techniques make a greater use of technology then anyone else I can think of. Heck, the US Army has their own video game for God's sake! The only problem is that the US Military tends to put more effort and money into developing the big flashy toys. We spend billions of dollars developing new tanks, ships and stealth bombers while still using a rifle that was designed in the 50's. It is obscene how the Pentagon has consistently shorted the Land Warrior system in favor of faster tanks, stealthier jets, and bigger helicopters when every military theorist in the modern world all agree that the most important key to success on the battlefield is the man on the ground with the rifle.

The Internatinal Corproations have the most advanced military in the world. Americans, those who live in states get to participate by joining it but to say it is ours is stretching it a bit.
It is a special interest mlitary.
Israel may be the most powerfull nation on earth, it has been estimated that Israel may have as many as 400 nuke warheads, they have people in every government of euro centrics eqting out of their hands, they now have two and soon three nuke subs with nuke armed cruise missles.
If , purely fictional, today Israel and US were to war one against the other in ME the US would lose.
American military is not fighting for defense of territory in US or even profiting the US as everywhere we suport energy concenrs most of them are for Euro and israels advantage not the american populaces.

Detection and security is the most important factor, our ground forces are our best asset. They are equipped far better than any other adversary in the world. We greatly surpass any other country in military superiority. That is why we are the world power.

yes, have you ever seen another country saying..." ok USA we are going to war against you, see you on the east coast of your country???" nope they know they cant do that. WE CAN....we could tell any other country in the world that we are coming and there is little they could do about it. If another country attacks us it has to be a surprise.

having served, i know for a fact we do. we even have stuff (not like its secret) that people don't know about. the problem is (having been i grunt) it some times doesn't work. the budget for the Marines sucks.haha!
if your in the infantry you know this!
