The Coast Guard is still developing assistance for Coastie spouses. As of right now, if your husband takes care of you at least 50% there is a chance you can get some free schooling. I am not sure how you would go about that, because I am not in the TA department but I know it to be true. Have your husband contact his Education Services Officer aka ESO. By the way...We are Homeland Security....Get it Right

I am active duty in the Marine Corps. I know the Air Force has a program for the spouse. We do not. Since the Coast Goard is a department of transportation, you need to check through them. A good start is the Montgomery GI Bill website.

Good luck.

If there was, it would be through the Montgomery GI bill, though I don't think the Coast Guard falls under that.
