First, the Constitution makes the President the Commander In Chief of the military. Second, Congress voted to authorize the President to conduct this conflict, Third, impeach for what? Doing what Congress authorized? Four, suddenly withdrawing troops from Iraq will leave a power void that the current Iraqi government cannot fill - so expect chaos and lots of loss of life - and then all the Americans that died will have done so in vane ( much like Viet Nam).
In an armed conflict, people die, sad to say but its true. At the Battle of Somme in World War I, the British suffered 57,000 killed or wounded in ONE DAY! During our Civil War at Antietam 5,000 died in one day.
No one wants to see American troops die but when you go into a foreign country to dispose a murderous dictator, that used poison gas on his own people and the Iranians, you can expect casualties.
Has the war gone as planned, I doubt it. War never goes as planned. Has the President has come close to the requirements of impeachment set forth by the Constitution? No.
Support the troops and maybe someone will find a way for them to return home and leave a stable democratic government in Iraq.

Impeach Bush? Yes, good idea although I am not an American. Where are the people who supported him now and boycotted the French? Bringing the troops home may not be a good idea now, they have to clear the mess your president left. I am sorry for the soldiers that are being killed needlessly every day.

I think Bush needs to be impeached, but the time is not right! Removing troops in Iraq will leave a power void, we dont need a power void here too! Besides look at the lesson his stupidity is showing people! It will be decades before anyone like him could come to power again!

On an emotional level, I agree with you. I can't stand Bush. I have emailed 9 Senators and Congressmen to see what is to be done. In all honesty, I sort of see the logic behind not impeaching him. He has mad an idiot of himself in the last 6 years. Two more years will guarantee that there won't be another person like him elected as president for a long time.

I would love to see our soldiers brought home. Syria and Lebanon have offered to intercede and help sooth the ways, I say, Let them have Iraq. Although they are touchy with us, they are still our allies. Let Muslim people resolve a Muslim conflict,

Gee, well since I am not a citizen of your country, I really don't have a vote in this. The war was supported by your government and it is up to your government to end it. You gave Bush a mandate to do his thing. Put pressure on your representative the good old democratic way.

A fine mess has been made and executing S. Hussein was the icing of stupidity.

You are wrong, we either continue to persue and kill off the bad guys until they are beaten, or we pull out and give them time to reorganize and rebuild unfettered only to have to fight them once again in the future. Each time you fail to complete the job by giving up you embolden your enemies who will continue to terrorize and harass you, finding you to be an easy target to control and extort. When you lack the resolve to complete any task you find it easier to quit in the future.
Don't be a conditioned quiter or you could end up like france! Easy pickins!
