If you are in Afghanistan as part of NATO why are you not fighting as a NATO army should.
If you cannot do the job like the UK,US, CANADA,HOLLAND etc then clearly :
PISS OFF
And leave the men to do the job!!!

As for the French that is what we expect.

My knowledge of American History and War is not all that great. Can someone help me understand USA Pride and Patriotism when it comes to war? Where does it come from and which wars has US been involved with and won? Just curious! Thanks

Lets invade Mexico and take it over. Great land mass, Oil, and plenty of free labor. All the criminals are either here or hiding there to avoid us. Better use of our military and Mexico couldn't fight back. We took half their country away from them before. Let's get the other half.

What do you think?

am not really sure which to join but the army seems like the types of jobs i like.

the army soldiers were very friendly when i spoke to them and it seemed like a more relaxed enviroment of people, i felt able to talk to them easier than the air force guys as they seemed a bit formal and to be honest a bit posh! am not sure which i should go for?

American's loath to admit losing but if we haven't already lost, we're losing in Iraq. Do we have to wait for Bush to tell us or is there some other indication when the war is lost. I mean most people look at winning and losing as black and white, right? So what is it. Lost, losing or winning?

m60 "gunner" my dad was in the vietnam war. he passed away last year and i miss him so much! i am trying to get as much info as possible, what he did there exactly. i know he was in the "jungle" and i know that he killed some vietcong, how many i dont know. i didnt get to ask him all the things i wanted to. growing up i didnt talk about it because he was living with p/t/s/d. and daddy doesnt want his little girl to hear those things but now i am starving for this knowledge. i know that he has had best friends die along side of him and i know that the 1st platoon did more "front line killing" basically those titles have special meanings as to what hew did there and i want to know desperatly!!! he was very proud to be a marine even though they were treated horribly when they came home from that war, he lived the saying "USMC TO THE END" if anyone that was there knows those titles or even my dad Dennis G. Klein please give me some info on this!!! thank you from a proud daughter of a marin

My son left for boot camp Nov. 15 and we have not yet gotten the form letter with his address in it. How long will he be in reception before he is assigned to a unit? His MOS is 92Y-unit supply specialist. His recruiting Sgt. said that may be why he is still in processing? Does it take longer to assign recruits that are not infantry?

Are the Republicans still in denial when they say?
there won't be another draft when their next presidential nominee John McCain has said over and over along with the top military analysts that many more american troops are needed in Iraq and the lasted studies say that at least 400,000 troops will be needed.
that will be something like 14 troops to every 1000 Iraqis.
that is just to get us up to par with the status quo and if it gets worse more will be needed........this is the only way the US can be effective and no I don't want a draft but obviously your president and future presidential hopeful do....so do you want to stay the course or cool off and I know Rangel said it too but are you really hearing what the rest of Washington is saying........read between the lines people wake up
