Okay people I have another question that you would love to answer(probably not). I want all information possible on the buddy program in the Navy. How long does the buddy program lasts? In the program will the two people be stationed together everywhere they go? Go ahead answer away....and I'm talking about just being completely informative, tell me everything. Thank you all for answering my question and of course the best answer, ten points. Good Luck

My boyfriend is currently serving a year long deployment in Tikrit, Iraq. I get to talk to him a lot, but he never tells me what they are doing, and I know its because he doesn't want to make me worry more then I already do. He tells me that they are safe, but then again is going out on missions everyday, what is really going on? Also, he say'd that he thinks they might not end up having to stay over there for their entire year long deployment, could this happen and is it typical?

My son in law and 20 others with a permanent profile (medical) and listed non deployable have been told today they will be deployed to Iraq on January 20th. This was decided by their commander at Fort Bragg. There is a big meeting going on right now by the person in charge there of medical profiles. She says it can't be done. I"m confused. Help.

He was 19 and wasn't sure that he wanted to be in the army anymore and he went awol for about 3 weeks, went back and got chaptered out within a month with an "other than honorable discharge" (as I said earlier) . Now, every since he did that he's felt so much pain and guilt and has thought many times about making it right and going back to finish serving his country. It's been almost 4 years since he got out and I was just wondering if anyone knows if it's going to be possible if he wants to go back , he said he has a re-3 code. If anyone can help or give advice please do. Thanks.

Members of radical cleric Moqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army militia are taking on the USA military and making Bush change foreign policy.
Sahib al-Ameri, secretary general of Sadr's Najaf-based Martyrs' Foundation, a religious body linked to the Sadr movement, stated they will beat the USA in Iraq and make Bush leave in the near future. Already the American troops refuse to fight and many troops have stated they know they can not win in Iraq. This will be another Vietnam for the Americans Sahib al-Ameri said.

Actually was meant to throw Iraq into chaos which would strengthen Iran’s control of the region turning it into a super power. Why you ask? Simple, fearing that the Shiite Muslims will be turning into a super power; it will force Turkey (Sunni Muslims) to establish the caliphate. The two countries will be at odds with each other and eventually leading to a regional war. With this in mind, is Iraq such a failure?

responsible is still out there free. I lost my brother in 9/11. His sons joined the army out of respect for him, so that his death wouldn't go unavenged. They believed in the what the admistration said and even stayed true after it was brought to light that this same admisnistration lied to them. 8 months ago I lost one of my nephews, 31 hours ago I lost the other one. There will be no one now to keep our family bloodline going and for the first time even I am asking how much more does this country and the people in it have to lose? My brothers kids were good ones, full of promise. One in med school and the other in law school. So, tell me if this war is the right thing how come we only see more death and tragedy. Sadam was brought down long ago has that put a dent in the killing? And when will the man who took my brother's life be brought down? When do we spend more time on finding him? Maybe someone out there can help me see what my nephews died believing in, cause I just don't...

I recently found out I have very little time left in my life. With sure dearh I have found myself thinking of things that I am ashamed to say didn't catch my attention when it happened. So I'm hoping someone can please tell me why in the hell the strongest country in the world, the US, didn't step in a save many of the lives that were taken during the genocide in Rawanda. We certainly don't mind going into a country and blowing it up, killing many inncent people, women, and kids are under the pretense of keeping us free. So how could we have dropped the ball so badly during the genocide...can someone please explain this to me?

At the local high school where I live there have been four different instances in which there have been recruitment tables set up with soldiers clad in camo galavanting about the cafateria. I'm not against this. I am actually all for it but I'm not sure if it makes a difference. So now I'm asking you.
Have you had people come to your local school and talk to you?
If they did and you were a student, would it change your mind about the Army?
Would this display persuade you to consider joining the Army?
If not, why?

I have met a military guy online. Everything was very nice between us, we chatted regularly for several months. But since 1 month he keeps telling me that he is very busy. I wonder if he is really busy or if he is trying to get rid of me.
What does busy mean for a military?
Can a military be so busy that he even don't find time to write a mail or an IM?
How long can a military be busy?
Is november/december a busy time for militaries?
Or is "busy" another way to say "leave me alone"?

Right after 9/11 you couldn't drive down the road without seeing flags all over peoples cars. The same after we first declared war in Iraq. Now all of a sudden people are so against the military and our troops. Calling them names like baby killers and other horrible things. It makes me sick. I could drive miles without seeing an American flag. What is going on people. Remember, Bush said that this war wasn't going to be easy. He also said it was going to be a long war. He was supported then. Did people forget? And don't give me this war is over oil crap. I haven't seen any oil. Must be my republican free gas card got lost in the mail.

Last June the Marines told him he wouldn't be going to Iraq. So he enlisted at age 17. Today he was told he will go to Iraq and fight. The Marines said they told him he wouldn't go to Iraq at age 17. Now he's 18 years old and he's going to be going in May 0f 07. They lied to him and he wants out. He is against the war in Iraq and said he will go AWOL. Why did the Marines mislead him? He's only 17 when he joined.

EMP Guns have been tested for several years now, and made something of a hollywood appearance in "The Eraser". But the technology is very real, and working examples have been around for a while using the Gauss effect.

When will this technology be realised on the battlefield?
