Oh I know the perfect things. I was in Iraq for a total of a little over 2.5 years. I'm not married, however, the majority of my men are. These were on the list of their Xmas's when we were there.

1. Photo's of you and the kids ( If you have kids, get a small photo almbum that the kids can draw on for dad )

2. Socks, undershirts, shorts, boxers ( the necessities we take for granted )

3. You could always write him a long long long long "love" letter, just expressing more of your love to him.

4. Send DVD's. Even though we are in Iraq...the guys over there are big kids. Send new releases.

5. Send games, Most of the bases there, now have Xbox's / 360's PS2 and Gamecubes. Majority. If your husband is a gamer.

6. Send him a good luck charm. Though I'm sure you probably gave him a hundred ( or a few thousand ) before he left, each one has a specific and loving meaning to them.

7. Send him snack food. You have no idea what a box of Chocolate Cookies mean to a guy over there. Kool aide and tea too.

Last but not least, I know its a little...embarrassing to put on the internet here...But a few of the wives back at home did send their "things" to their husbands...Just a little joke...and a little reminder for the guy that they still have their wives at home...and their wives love them that much. Don't mean to be rude...Just tellng you what I saw. I apologize if that offends anyone.

Lots of Christmas cards - with a different picture of you in each one. Any kind of home-made food.

One thing that I really got a kick out of was a bunch of individually wrapped packages. Instead of opening one box and immediately knowing what was in it I got to spend half an hour getting a new surprise every few minutes.

One word of warning: do not send him something that may cause embarrassment if he is in a room full of people when he opens it. I watched this happen to an officer over there whose wife sent him nude pictures of herself. There were about 15 of us (male and female) around when they fell out of the envelope onto the floor. Don't let this happen to you. :-)

Non perisahble food, I have been on deployments, and food, pictures, anything personal would probably be great, not just for christmas but for anytime. Just remember that he probably will have to ship or carry anything you send him back so it should be small and fairly study.

Pictures of you or a video of you. Use your imagination. Being over there he needs a morale booster. Let him know what he has waiting for him at home.

You can get a nice picture of yourself, or make a scrap book with things you and him have shared.

A good sex picture, porn, of you. Hes going to satisfy his needs one way or the other, and the in his mind, like most soldeirs, hes fighting so he can come home to you. Plus I think you would like him.."satisfying himself".. to you over some whore he saw in a porno they had. So it would be a good thing for both of you.
