Of course it's a civil war, and has been ever since we failed to secure the borders with Iran and Syria. Personally, I'd be ready to arm the Kurds and tell them to just take over the whole damn country.

Its now official, that there is a civil war. Actually, the civil war in Iraq began well before President Bush announced mission accomplished aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln on May 1, 2003 . The only problem is that the Bush administration could not accept the 'free' press to announce civil war, because it would imply that the invasion of Iraq created a civil war in that region, and American troops would have to leave immediately, because legally it is not acceptable for American soldiers to die for an Iraqi squabble (amongst it's people) - But then, it seems President Bush lied again.

Since the Bush administration lost the recent election, so there is no way to 'contain' the lie, so to speak. If the Republican Party had won this election, Iraq would still be on a 'brink' of a Civil War.

It is a shame and sad that American soldiers must die for politics, instead of a worthy cause - like the second world war.

According to a report Bush said the war was not a civil war.

I believe its just a tecnique by the enemies to make the troops give up and leave iraq. Obviously they really dont want invaders to be in their country.
It's just a political technique towards racial sensitivity among the people is used to scare the troops away since they dont have experience handling cleric fights with many diverse cultures in Iraq.

You really do not expect an honest answer from the Bush supporters do you. Of course it is a civil war. The Sunni's are killing the Shite's and the Shite's are killing the Sunni's and they are both killing Americans. Both are seeking the power to run the country.

the present Democratic administration has no longer finished something they have promised (yet a hell of a massive style of shift blaming and lip service), and now I truly received't help any massive activities in congress. concerning Democrat or Republicans. i'm also an energetic militia workers, and function been there (Iraq/Afghanistan) to carry close better ideal then each and every of the gibberish talks from Democratic and Republican supporters in this communicate board except for militia workers with understanding. better Iraqis worry a rustic withdrawal then what's being stated in the media and our congress. If our Commander in chief change right into a incompetent as Y!A democratic supporters say, then why did not we proceed to annihilate the total usa with US wonder and awe? straight forward its also pretend speaking and FOS, or we would have total administration of their oil fields and not in any respect Iraq. Which truly is an argument at a stalemate to divide the sales among the Iraqis truly and to deliver their human beings of all factions right into a solidarity authorities and usa. this stuff takes time, funds, and regrettably alike historic previous "LIVES". EDIT - on your remark of polls. What polls in united statesa. can fairly make any actual tests of the Iraqi inhabitants, until eventually it really is finished with Iraqis there in the back of closed doors for worry of reprisals with them speaking out. maximum Iraqis are non violent and loving households like ours and function religious intonation also.

Yes it is a civil war. Iraq is a bastard nation to begin with. They should let it fall apart into seperate nations, i.e. Kurds, Sunnis, and Shiites. Making them live together is like putting a dog and a cat in a bag together.

Of course it's a civil war in Iraq. Since their are factions that don't want a Democratic style of goverment, they will fight to see it isn't established. I guess those people don't want to vote for new leaders every few years.

No, most of the violence is from foreign insurgents.

Not to mention the fact that most of the intel of late came from a fake police srg. in the Iraqi police, he wasn't even a real source, yet the MSM quoted his word as gospel. Like the mosque bombing that didn't happen.

I'm not a fan of GWB, but what's with the insistence on getting him to describe the bloodshed with a particular term?
