Not likely. The U.S has made a bad thing worse. Bush is a war-monger, and as long as he's in power, war is inevitable.

Iraq is the land of perpetual fight since Biblical times. It is not going to change any time soon, Bush or no Bush. Remember, the Jews came from Iraq, they were persecuted there. Those people can not live in peace. They are too different, never formed a nation, never been in the same faith, never had the same culture, they hated each other since Abraham and Jacob.... Forget about Iraq and just hope that a new Saddam will come soon and put everybody in line.

Bush at this point believes that peace is like surrender and wants to go hand in hand with the enemy. But America has to remember
that this is not a country they are fighting. Its people/terrorists they are fighting. To defeat a nation you nuke them.To defeat people you must keep fighting until all are destroyed. In other words until allterrorists are destroyed. This goes directly to the morons who say "lets nuke Iraq and bring our boys home".Is not Japan when you defeat a nation and the leader signs a treaty (I have said this a million times) and gives up while a portion of their military is still able to keep fighting. Those terrorists will not board a U.S vessel
and accept surrender because Iraq's are being killed by American nukes. They will just spread awkwards and keep fighting.Remember that a nation must stay where it is.But people they can simply get away from that location and obviosly the terrorists can just go elsewhere while millions of innocent people die.But I think bush already knows that peace is impossible with terrorists. They are an undefeatable enemy with arms no matter how many of these nukes the U.S has and no matter how many countries are "bombed to the stone ages" they can still exist because people can simply become a terrorist with a little pshycological propaganda. The enemy is everywhere.Terorists are everywhere.Nukes are for games like chess when its considered a check mate. But with terrorists the king can get away instead of accepting checkmate. Its not played by the rules and Bush understands that. The only way a person can control terrorists is if the whole world is against them.In WW2 everyone in the U.S was united against the enemy. Now its not like that.In this controvrsial battle each person hs their own view.As long as peoplee blame the goverment on every bad thing that happens like 9/11 the terrorists will never be controlled. We need to blame the terrorists on bad things that happens.Thats the only way they
can perish. If the whole world hates them.Right now with countries like Iraq invaded most people in another country think badly of the U.S.Already the American people have realised this is not an enemy that canbe destroyed by nukes. That is one step up.Now the non extremist Muslims must control them with their own propaganda. There is already an American-Islamic society that said "kill us too we are also American" and this message was for all terrorists. This kind of act weakens themore then a nuke.

Peace at Iraq will only be reached when President Bush decide to extract all troops from the area.

Quite unlikely. Irag is divided into 3 factions, the Shiites,
Sunnis and the Kurds, all vieing for control of the
government. They have been killing each other long
before America stepped into the ring. If America pulls
out now, there would be total chaos, with Syria, Iran and
other Arab nations like hyenas to finish off what's left.
So, I cannot foresee any peace in the near future.

Bush is in denial! Well, peace will be after the civil war! What does the bible have to do with Muslims in Iraq. Bible is talking about the land around Israel

Well, we will eventually be able to leave Iraq, but Iraq will never have peace. They've been at war of some kind ever since they came into existence.

No...Bush doesn't know what peace is...

I hate to say it, but I'm beginning to think that they don't want a peaceful, free country - if they (the Iraqi people in general) did, they would be more forceful in letting the insurgents know that they will not stand for what they are doing...

Not soon maybe not ever but if the violence can be significantly reduced it will help. If you notice most of them are followers not leaders so a dictatorship type government is all they understand. And as long as being a muslim and have that (islam) as there no1 religion it wont change because that is what its about dictatorship and dont dare have your own mind or thoughts or your an outsider that needs to die. BASICALLY
