My fiance enlisted in the air force but has been told he will be entering as an "Open E.T" I know that ET stands for Electronic Technician. But what does it mean to be "open"? The way we understood his recruiter we think it means that he won't know his training program until after he completes BMT. It's very confusing and vague.

Iraq is falling apart, and 20,000 additional troops can’t put it back together again.

If I become an officer in the USAF through ROTC, serve my initial four-year commitment, and want to keep serving for a little longer, what kind of commitment do I have to make? Another two years? Four years more? Just until whenever I resign? How does this work for the USAF Officer Corps?

Here are some of the reasons that they should resign;
1-Mismanagement of the war in Iraq
2-Mismanagement of the Palestinian-Israeli issue
3-Mismanagement of the war against Terrorism
4-Mismanagement of world affairs
