Alright... I know that this is a weird question and stuff... but I was just wondering out of curiosity. My teacher said that there were eleven including the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, the French Indian War, the Mexican War, the Desert Storm, the Iraqii war, (Whatever it's called. It's the war we're in now.) the War of 1812 and the Korean War! But I'm not all that sure if those are all of them.................. PLEASE HELP MEH PITIFUL MIND! DX (I've been thinking about this for the past month :P)

The idea has been tossed around a bit, and many other foriegn countries require that each high schooler upon graduation complete a mandatory 2 year military enlistment. What do you think?

I Left the Marines a few years ago as a corporal....I always wondered..."If I had stayed?" My questions are:

1)If you're a Gunny; "Who" or "What" determins if and when you get promoted, do you become a "Master Sgt" or a "First SGT"???

2) If you go the Master SGT route, can you still be a SGTMAJ?or do you "must" become a "MAsterGunny"?

3) Can a Master Gunnery Sergeant become "Sgt Major of the Marine Corps"???

Some pamphlets you can get for suggestions about the best way for both soldier and spouse to "decompress" after a long deployment suggest that you should not have sex right away, but rather get to know each other again first. I would think that if you had gone without for months or even years, unless you were severely depressed or ill, you wouldn't be able to wait!

I know it's personal, but this is a pretty anonymous medium, and I'm curious. Did anyone here wait? If so, how long and why? Was it a good decision? If you didn't wait, after such a long time was it the awesomest sex ever?

Like quotes about them helping keep America safe, or them protecting people.. I'm making a collage and quotes about their dedication and such would be really helpful. :]
