A sailor was "stationed" at Naval Consolidated Brig Miramar some years ago, but the sailor has a criminal conviction that leads me to believe the sailor was actually imprisoned. What's the easiest way to verify whether or not the sailor was imprisoned in the brig? The sailor may be a pathological liar, so it is useless to ask directly. Can records be obtained?

Why don't we remove the Iragi military/police training outside of Iraq and into a wiling country, or our own, so that we can train the Iraqi's outside of Iraq? This could save some of our men from getting hurt/killed, which in turn would give American politicians some breathing room as things go south in Iraq. Has anyone seen any pentagon discussion on this idea?

I was thinking of perhaps Kuwait, here in the US or in Saudi Arabia or another country.

If I finish AFROTC, serve my commitment of four years in the Air Force, and am interested in serving for a bit longer, what would I have to commit to? I mean, would I have to sign up for an additional two years, four years, until I resign; what?

RIGA, Latvia - November 28, 06. President Bush, under pressure to change direction Iraq, said Tuesday he will not be persuaded by any calls to withdraw American troops before the country is stabilized.
"There's one thing I'm not going to do, I'm not going to pull our troops off the battlefield before the mission is complete," he said in a speech setting the stage for meetings with the Iraqi prime minister later this week. "We can accept nothing less than victory for our children and our grandchildren."

(Victory for "our children and grandchildren"?What about "victory" for Iraq's children &grandchildren, & the Bush administration's promises of 'liberty, freedom and democracy' for the majority of Iraqis?)(What will it take to bring "stability" to a region that resists so fiercely, withOUT killing or causing the killing of tens of thousands more?)

This is a serious, legitimate question based on a news item & related concerns. It is NOT a putdown of the U.S. military.

Alright I have someone that really wants to go to the Navy, but she fears that she may not be able to get her college degree. So the question is going to be quick so listen up and please sarcastic answers will prove to be quite ineffective and irrelevant at this time so refrain from them. How will you be able to get your college degree in the Navy? Do you have to juggle and time manage in order to attend all of your classes. As a matter of fact give me any information about achieving your college degree in the Navy. Any information is helpful. And as you know the most helpful answer will receive the ten points.

We lost a good military man here in Michigan. Killed two weeks ago in Iraq. The parents and family were crying. Why? They stated they were happy he served and proud and said their son died doing what he loved. So why the tears?

Spouces are welcomed to attend classes held durring the weekend and at the end is an Awards Banquet. My husband has to wear his dress blues, and I have a floor length formal black gown to wear. But as far as assorising, what should I do? How formal is this going to be? I love getting really formal, but I don't want to over do it. Can anyone give me a heads up for what to expect?
