Don't it seem kinda funny how they wanna all "help" in Iraq?
Do you smell trouble with all that?
Are these guys really capable of a campain and possibly move to threaten our troops, who's to say that missles aren't already fixed on them and Israel?
WW3.5 eh?

Doc- I agree but theres a bigger problem with the amount of countries NOT caring that terror is still not being reigned in.
Also, to split up Iraq into states is a good suggestion, but more than likely in the short haul- it would blow up anyway...

Hizbullah is Iran's secretly (not really so secret) funded army. And I am not surprised at this attempt. If we continue to demonstrate that we have the stones to stick this fight through to the finish, they will lose ground. They (Iran and Syria) are known for their double-speak, loudly and globally proclaiming how America is bullying the middle east, yet at home and speaking to their citizens declaring a terrorist war on ALL of the western civilisations. No surprises here.

Not sure about all those parties but I heard an interesting geo-political analysis today, which makes sense to me.

Basically, you have a (for lack of better words) a civil war in Iraq, primarily between the Sunni and Shia religious sects.

Al Qaeda is largely a Sunni-based group.
Hezbollah is largely Shia.
Hezbollah controls Syria.
Iran doesn't trust Al Qaeda.
Iran and Iraq have a long history of fighting between themselves.
Iran will "help" the United States by training Shia troops.
This would strengthen Iran, Syria and Hezbollah in the Middle East.

So, yes, I smell trouble...with a capital "T".
Personally, I would advocate a creation of separate states within Iraq, between the Kurds, Sunnis and Shia's, much like the former Yugoslavia nation.

Anything is possible after the mess we created in the middle east. Extremist groups seem to be a major problem because they gain support by blaming the United States for their problems, and they have more than enough reason to.
