Many soldiers are afraid of loosing the war. There is actually a very high reenlistment rate due to the common feeling amounst soldiers that the job isn't done and they are abandoning the team.

I'm pretty sure there is no such word as "DIEING" maybe you meant dying and wonded how about wounded i feel disgraced knowing that people have the opportunity to a decent not to mention free education.

your half right, my fear was not dying, it was *if my family was ok without me*, my wife and children depended quite a bit on me when I left, so my fault of presence worried me alot. It was ok though, my family learned a little bit about independence, and I learned about trust.
